10 Premier League matches take place over the next four days with an exciting clash between Aston Villa and Leeds kicking things off tonight.
WhichBookie football analyst Matt Le Tissier shares his thoughts on the upcoming fixtures and has selected a BTTS four-fold at 5/1 along with his NAP of the week and a Monday night double.
The Friday night fixture between Aston Villa and Leeds kicks things off tonight and I think 9/4 is a big price on Leeds who I believe are slightly overpriced. If I was to have a bet tonight, my money would go on Leeds.
I’ll be adding this match into my Both Teams To Score four-fold which is priced at around 5/1 with 10Bet. However, you can qualify for Acca Insurance with Paddy Power who are offering slightly lower odds of 9/2 but you’ll get your stake back as a free bet up to £10 if one leg loses which seems like a good option.
My NAP for this week is on Saturday and is for Crystal Palace to beat Fulham. Fulham should have beaten Sheff United last weekend but Roy gets Palace so well organised whether they’re playing home or away. At 9/5 with 888Sport, I think they’re overpriced.
Looking at the West Ham v Man City game and the Hammers haven’t done badly considering the fixtures they’ve had but 7 points from their last 3 games against Wolves, Leicester and Spurs is pretty impressive. 7/1 for them at home is a massive price but Aguero is back for City and also possibly De Bruyne which is why the bookies have priced them so short. This match will be going in my BTTS coupon for this week.
Man Utd v Chelsea is another game that I’ll definitely be adding in my BTTS Acca. Going into this match, in terms of results, I think United probably have the edge. They had a cracking win in Paris last week whereas Chelsea drew 0-0 with Sevilla and thew away the lead twice against Southampton three days earlier. I’m edging towards Man Utd but it’s a tough one.
Liverpool take on Sheffield United at 8pm on Saturday evening and Sheffield were lucky to sneak a draw out of their match against Fulham last week. If I was having a bet on this one I’d be looking at -1 or -2 Liverpool.
Southampton v Everton is a tough one to call. If Everton hadn’t had the injuries and suspensions which they have had recently, I wouldn’t have fancied our chances. However, Richarlison is out, who has been a pain in Southampton’s side for the past couple of seasons, and James Rodríguez is looking doubtful who will be a huge miss. Their absences weakens the Everton side and evens things out between the two teams. I fancy the draw at around 13/8 with Betfair.
Newcastle’s best performances so far this season have come away from home with their win against West Ham and draw against Spurs so the price of just over 4/1 on them to beat Wolves on Sunday is surprising. However, Wolves are just starting to find a bit of form and their win against Leeds was impressive. A bet on Newcastle to win or draw looks the best value.
In Sunday’s evening match 11/4 for Leicester looks overpriced against Arsenal but I would wait late on until the starting XI is announced as they look a completely different team when Vardy isn’t available. If Vardy plays, I think they’ll have a much better chance.
Monday night features two matches which will be included in my double for the weekend. Just under 2/1 for the Brighton & Spurs double seems a good bet. I think Brighton have more than enough to beat West Brom fairly comfortably and Burnley haven’t really got going yet this season.
