WhichBookie racing analyst Andrew Blair White provides a preview and betting tips for races at Fairyhouse on Wednesday 7th July.
Although it may not seem like it at first, this game could be a cracker and definitely one that I’ll be sitting down to watch.
Croatia and Canada take on each other in their second match of the tournament and it’ll be a tough game for both sides. It’s understandable that the bookies have priced Croatia as odds-on favourites given that this is only the second time Canada have qualified for the World Cup with the last being back in 1986. However, John Herdman has got his side playing with confidence and they’ll be up for this tournament and may surprise some people with their performances.

Croatia certainly have goals in them. They put three past Spain at Euro 2020 and scored 21 throughout their ten qualification matches. Although they only conceded four across those games, I think Canada have a chance of getting on the scoresheet.
Canada found the net 23 times during qualification which included bagging more than once against the likes of USA and Mexico.
Both teams to score is priced at 17/20 with William Hill which I think is a solid bet.
I’ll also be backing Croatia to win & BTTS at 3/1 with SkyBet.
Croatia vs Canada team news and line ups will be published here once full World Cup squads have been announced.
