WhichBookie racing analyst Andrew Blair White provides a preview and betting tips for races at Fairyhouse on Wednesday 7th July.
The third World Cup fixture of the day on Monday 28th November sees Brazil and Switzerland face each other at Stadium 974.
As pre-tournament favourites to lift the World Cup this year, Brazil are expected to win this game. However, they’re up against a side who knocked France out of the Euro’s last year and were only eliminated on penalties by Spain in the quarter-finals.
Switzerland will be hoping for a second place finish in Group G and that’s well within their reach. They proved themselves as a team to be respected against the best in Europe last year and will be full of confidence heading into this tournament.

Brazil are 1/2 for the win in this match. They’re going to be a relatively short price against most sides in the early stages of the tournament but this will be one of their tougher matches.
With Switzerland putting three past France and scoring against Spain at the Euro’s, I’m backing them to find the net in this game with Both Teams To Score being available at Evens.
Ultimately, Brazil should have enough quality in their squad to outscore Switzerland and so Brazil to Win & BTTS seems sensible if you agree with the BTTS selection and is priced at 11/4 with SkyBet.
Lastly, I’m backing the second half to produce the most goals. I expect Switzerland to start defensively and Brazil to bide their time in search of a goal. The second half could really open up though and I’d take odds of 11/10 for more goals to be scored in the final 45 minutes.
