There were 32 sports available to bet on at Boylesports at the time of writing this review which is around average for a bookmaker. There is also a good number of markets for the majority of sports. As you would expect, the most markets can be found for high-profile football matches but there are also a good number of sports such as darts, tennis and rugby. Boyles also offer the widest range of Lottery type bets and are the only mainstream bookie offering odds on the Euromillions Lotto draws. 

Boylesports Horse Racing

Boylesports is one of the best bookmakers for betting on horse racing. Every day there are a number of betting offers focussed around racing with regular offers being Money Back if 2nd to SP Favourite, Refund if your horse fails to start as well as Best Odds Guaranteed which is available on all UK & Irish races.

As well as covering a range of races and offering daily betting offers, Boylesports even provides tips and stats on races, runners and jockeys to help you make more informed decisions on your bets. They’re a great addition to the site and one which sets Boylesports apart from the rest when it comes to horse racing.

In-Play Betting

All in-play events can be found by clicking on the ‘In-Play’ tab in the main nav bar. There are events in-play 24 hours a day ranging from football, cricket and golf to even in-play markets for volleyball and handball.

You may not find the most number of in-play markets compared to some of the other top bookmakers but the majority of users will find what Boyelsports offer sufficient. For in-play football matches, you’ll be able to bet on popular markets such as the match winner, half betting and the player to score next or on more niche markets such as which team will receive the most yellow cards or receive the most corners.

Live Streaming

Boylesports have offered a live streaming service for some time now but the streams were previously only available for horse and greyhound racing. However, in July 2022 they expanded their offering to include live streams of Football, Golf and many other sports.

All sports can be streamed via desktop or mobile devices and you won’t be charged for any of the streams. Simply log into your account via the Boylesports website or app, navigate to the event you’d like to watch and click in the Play button.

To access racing streams, the ‘Bet & Watch’ requirements must be met. To stream a live race, you must place a bet of at least £1 on the race you wish to watch. Then, simply click the ‘Watch Race’ button and the stream will load.

Streams are usually available around 5-10 seconds before the scheduled start time of a race.

Customer Service

Customer support at Boylesports is available either via email, telephone or live chat. There is also an extensive ‘Help Centre’ which contains articles and guides for the most frequently asked questions. We found this to be extremely helpful due to the number of articles provided.

The live chat button and other contact details can be found by clicking on the ‘Contact Us’ link in the footer of the website. From here, you can be connected to a live chat support agent or open a support ticket if your query is less urgent.

Boylesports App

The Boylesports App is available to download for iOS and Android devices and for both mobile phones and tablets. There are two Boylesports apps you can download, one for sports betting and one for casino and games. There are some casino games which you can play through the sports betting app such as roulette, blackjack, Age of Gods and a few other slots but if you’d like the full range of games then you will need to download the dedicated casino app.

The Boylesports app looks and works the same as the mobile version of the Boylesports website which is excellent. We particularly like the sticky menu bar at the bottom of the screen which provides quick access to sections such as promotions, your bets and a big cash out button. Navigation between sports and markets is also made easy through the app via the main nav bar.

We have no complaints with the Boylesports app whatsoever and consider it to be one of the better betting apps available. Quick access to your account, fast loading pages and an attractive design make it a no-brainer for anyone who has a Boylesports account.

The Website

Unlike the Boylesports app, the main website isn’t the most attractive. The website looks slightly dated and with four columns containing a lot of information, it can seem a little cluttered at times. That said, it’s relatively easy to find what you’re looking for by using the main nav bar and side bar which contain quick links to various sports and sections of the site. 

Although the amount of information on the Boylesports website can make it seem a bit overwhelming, it does allow users to have access to a lot more than on some other bookie websites. For example, if you click on the days football matches, Boylesports will list the games, the odds, the current form and statistics of each team and even show you which TV channel the match will be broadcast on. Many punters will often use third-party websites for stats and other information but a lot of it can be found directly on Boylesports with ease. 

Overall, although the Boylesports website may not be the most attractive or the fastest loading, it does contain a lot more information than other bookmaker websites and once you get used to it, it’s likely you’ll prefer it.

Cash Out

If you wish to settle your bets early with Boylesports, cash out is an option. Cash Out at Boylespors is available on selected events, fixtures and markets both pre-match and in-play on single and multiple bets. Sports which are available to cash out on are football, tennis, GAA, snooker, darts, rugby, gold, cricket, baseball, basketball and ice hockey. Cashing out is easy. Simply click on the cash out button next to your open bet if you are happy with the amount and it will instantly be added to your cash balance. Be aware that cash out is only available for win bets so if you place an each way bet and wish to cash it out, the whole bet will not be eligible for cash out.

Boylesports Bet Builder

Boylesports offer both pre-made Bet Builders and the option for customers to create their own. Bet Builders give customers the freedom to create sometimes complex bets on a single sporting event that feature multiple selections.

To place a Bet Builder with Boylesports, click through to any sporting event and then on the Bet Builder tab. From here, you’ll be able to pick your bets to include in your Bet Builder from various markets such as a player to score a hat-trick, 1st half over/under goals, a player to be booked or sent off, both teams to score, the match result and several others.

Boylesports Casino

Although the Boylesports Casino doesn’t match up to some dedicated online casinos, there are still over 300 games to choose from. Over 200 of these games are online slots but there is also a good selection of table and card games such as blackjack, roulette, 3 card brag, baccarat, craps, casino war and many others. 

Boylesports Live Casino

Summary

Boylesports is a solid bookmaker with a strong reputation. Their recent expansion into land-based betting shops in the UK show that they have no intentions of going anywhere anytime soon and with an all-round good service, we don’t expect them to.

Although we think the Boylesports website could do with a bit of modernisation, it does contain a lot of useful information that you won’t find on other bookmaker websites and so we have no issues recommending them as a good bookie.
