Strictly Come Dancing, also referred to simply as Strictly, is a dance contest televised on BBC.
The show features several celebrities who are partnered with professional dancers and the duos perform a dance each week in front of the judges in hope of making it through to the next round.
Strictly first made an appearance on our screens back in May 2004 and is set for its 20th series in 2022.
The show attracts millions of viewers for each episode who are able to submit their votes for their favourite couple. Dance acts are eliminated based on both the public vote and the judges’ scores and although we have seen some changes with the judges in recent series, we can expect some familiar faces for the next series.
Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas are all set to feature in the panel but it is unclear whether or not Anton Du Beke will return following replacing Bruno Tonioli in the 2021 series.
Given the nature of the show, viewers have expressed an interest in betting on Strictly Come Dancing and as such, several bookmakers now offer odds on the winning dance couple, the next act to be eliminated and much more.
This Strictly Come Dancing betting guide will show you where you can bet on the show, what you can bet on and provide more information about the 20th series.

The BBC have not released a start date for the 20th series of Strictly but based on previous series, we can expect it to hit our screens sometime in September 2022.
You will find an official air date here on this page once it has been announced.
It’s too early to say exactly which celebrities will appear on this years Strictly but there are some rumours circulating already.
Back in November, documentary filmmaker, Louis Theroux, expressed an interest to feature on the show when he appeared as a guest on The Johnathan Ross show.
No doubt other celebrities will drop hints closer to September and if past series are anything to go by, we should be in for another great star-studded lineup.

If you’re looking to bet on Strictly Come Dancing, you’ll be pleased to hear that there are more betting options available than just betting on the winner.
We’ve listed some of the most popular Strictly betting markets below that are available with the betting sites featured in the table above.
Betting on the winner, or winning couple, of Strictly is the most common and popular bet to have on the show.
Celebrities are paired with professional dancers and with the bookies listed on this page, you can bet on the couple that will make it all the way and win the show.
Odds are available before the first dance has taken place all the way up to the final. You’ll generally be able to get bigger prices when there are more contestants left in the competition so get your bets on early if you feel you know which couple will do well.
Celebrities and their dance partners are eliminated from the show throughout the series and you can bet on which couple will be next to go.
Remember that eliminations are down to the judges’ scores and also the public vote and so it’s not always the worst dancers that leave and often just the couples that are less appealing to the public.
Throughout the history of the show, there have been ten male celebrity winners and nine who were female. Strictly Come Dancing betting sites allow you to bet on the gender of the celebrity who wins (not their dance partner) which is often a popular bet with the public.
As the contestants for Strictly 2022 have not yet been announced, betting odds on the show are not available. However, if you visit a Strictly betting site closer to the time of the competition, you’ll find the latest odds for all available betting markets.
Strictly is a great show to watch and having a small wager on the winner or the next elimination can add to the enjoyment.
We’ve covered how to bet on Strictly Come Dancing in this guide as well as where to place your bets and what you can bet on.
