Greyhound betting tips for racing taking place at Shelbourne Park & Oxford on Friday 1st December.
All eyes will be on Shelbourne this evening for the first night of the GRI Winter Racing Festival with the 13-race card live on RPGTV. Over at Oxford we have 11 races on the show including eight trial races for the upcoming bet365 Challenge Cup. Catch all the action live on SportyStuff TV – Sky channel 427, Freeview 264 and Freesat channel 250 from 6pm.
The Shelbourne card for me will be a watching brief looking for future bets in the coming weeks, for this evening’s selections we head to Oxford with all three selections coming in the bet365 Challenge Cup trial stake races.
The first selection is Droopys Creative (T6) who looks well-drawn as the solo wide seed in the second trial stakes race at 7.24 over the six-bend 650 metre trip. The Kevin Hutton trained runner caught the eye last week staying on well after turning mid-pack, with a smart exit this evening he can turn with the pace and hit the front by the third bend before powering clear to victory. Ela Maestro (T1) impressed last week when making all in 39.56 and would be a danger if he leads at the rails. Mad For Sterling (T5) has won his last three on the bounce at Romford and will be staying on well, he could be one to include in forecast bets.
7.24 Oxford Greyhound Tip – DROOPYS CREATIVE (T6) – 1 Point win at 7/2 with Ladbrokes.
At 7.44 Aayamza Sydney appeals from T2 in the third bet365 challenge cup trial stakes race. The John Mullins trained Towcester raider got it all wrong at the boxes last week in the final of the Ladbrokes Gold Collar final at Crayford, she looked well-drawn on the rails in T1 but following a tardy exit from the boxes she was badly crowded at the first bend and found life tough after that. Tonight, from T2 Aayamza Sydney will need to bring her trapping boots to clear Pomba Jake in T1 but with a ping break she’s capable of doing just that and making all. Cochise is always worth a second look in these type of races and rates as a danger from T3.
7.44 Oxford Greyhound Tip – AAYAMZA SYDNEY (T2) – 1 Point win at 2/1 with Ladbrokes.
The final selection on the Oxford card this evening is the Belinda Green Hove raider Low Pressure who lines up from T1 in the fourth trial stakes race at 8.03. The early paced railer looks well-drawn to lead round and once on the bunny he’s a class act.
8.03 Oxford Greyhound Tip – LOW PRESSURE (T1) – 1 Point win at 11/10 with Ladbrokes.

Above, you’ll find greyhound tips for today’s races from greyhound enthusiast and expert, Michael Smyth.
Michael is a greyhound owner himself and has several years of experience in providing greyhound tips and predictions for some of the biggest betting sites on the internet. He’s worked with major bookmakers in providing previews for evening RPGT cards and the Best Greyhound Bets Of The Day.
We are proud to be working with Michael who joined the WhichBookie team in October 2022 and looking forward to him sharing his greyhound racing tips with WhichBookie visitors.
No. Michael Smyth’s greyhound tips will be shared with WhichBookie visitors free of charge.
We don’t charge for any of our betting tips and cover various sports including football, horse racing, snooker, boxing, cricket and more.
All of Michael’s greyhound tips will be listed on this page and also shared in our private Telegram Channel.

If you are following Michael’s greyhound picks, he’ll recommend a bookmaker to use. However, you are free to use any greyhound betting site that you wish. Michael will usually suggest the bookie that is offering the best odds at the time he publishes his tips but as prices can change frequently, you may wish to compare them between several bookies when you come to place your bet.
It may also be that the recommended bookmaker has an offer or promotion available that is worth taking advantage of such as Best Odds Guaranteed or a Refund if 2nd.
This is entirely up to yourself.
Although we recommend a bookmaker to use, we don’t advise on stakes. This is because everyone’s betting balance is different and you should only stake what you’re comfortable with.
Greyhound racing takes place on most days of the week and so you can expect to find daily greyhound tips for the days racing ahead.
Today’s greyhound tips will be published above but you may also find predictions for races taking place in the days ahead.
Watching greyhound races online is easy thanks to several bookmakers offering live streaming services.
Bet365 is our recommended bookie to watch live sports with as they cover a huge range of events on a daily basis and have extensive greyhound racing streams available.
Betting on the dogs has been around since 1926, and it’s just as popular now as it was back then. There are many online greyhound bookies to choose from.
However, some bookmakers offer a much better greyhound betting service than others. So if you want the best odds, offers and results, you need to make sure you’re betting at the right place!
Betting on greyhound racing is similar to horse racing betting in that the markets are very much the same.
There is the option to back a runner to win or to place and most greyhound bookies give customers the options of a straight forecast, reverse forecast, straight tricast or combination tricast.
Although the bet types are similar to horse racing, being able to pick a winner in a greyhound race certainly takes a different set of skills. Not everyone follows greyhound racing and that’s where greyhound tipsters such as WhichBookie’s Michael Smyth can help.
There are a few bookmakers who do greyhound racing really well. An honourable mention goes to William Hill. But if you asked us to pick the one bookmaker that is best for greyhound racing, it would have to be bet365.
Bet365 Greyhounds coverage is second to none. As you’d expect, they have markets on every race in the UK. But unlike some other bookies, they also have early prices on all live races. Plus there’s best odds guaranteed and live streaming – see below for more details.

Dog racing takes place on every day of the week, all year round, at dog tracks around the country which often makes it a more appealing sport to bet on compared to the likes of football, rugby, basketball and NFL.
Given the number of races taking place throughout the year, it can be hard to stay up to date with the form and results on individual greyhounds. That’s where our dog racing tips can help you. Instead of having to follow all of the races, you can leave that up to our dog racing expert Michael Smyth who has been tipping winners for several years. Michael is a greyhound owner himself and follows the sport very closely in a bid to pick out some value bets that he can share with WhichBookie followers.
Michael’s dog racing tips are available throughout the week for races taking place at various UK tracks including Romford, Nottingham, Monmore, Hove, Crayford and more.
You’ll find plenty of bookies that offer best odds guaranteed, however this is normally only for horse racing. Some bookmakers do this for greyhounds as well, and it’s an offer well worth having. You can take an early price on any dog, and if the SP is higher, you get paid at the higher price.
See below for a list of top UK bookmakers that offer Best odds Guaranteed on greyhound racing.

Unlike many horse races, greyhound races take a matter of seconds with common race distances being between just 550 – 660 yards. This can make watching live greyhound racing extremely exciting. Also, races generally take place just minutes apart from each other and so once one race has finished, another is set to begin.
Many of the top greyhound bookies offer live greyhound streaming which allows customers to watch the races and bet on them too. Live streams of greyhound races are available with bookmakers such as Betfred, William Hill, Paddy Power and our recommended bookie, Bet365.
Bet365 provide live greyhound racing streams every day for races across the UK, Ireland and other parts of the world. They also offer extremely competitive odds as well as Best Odds Guaranteed on all races.
The Racing Post is a go-to destination for many greyhound punters. Not only does the Racing Post list all upcoming races but they also provide insightful information on each of the runners.
You’ll find information on the recent form of each of the runners in every listed race as well as helpful stats such as the dogs performances at the track they are running at, their trap record, record in particular classes and much more.
On top of the stats, Racing Post greyhound tips are also available for each race and they’re completely free. Although we recommend tracking the results of the selections made by our own greyhound tipster, Michael Smyth, it’s always good to compare the records of multiple greyhound experts.
If you’re looking to place forecast or tricast bets, the Racing Post greyhound predictor can be a helpful tool. Based on their statistics of each dog, along with their greyhound tips, they provide a simulation of the race which displays in which position they predict each dog to finish.
As we mentioned earlier, if you plan to spend a lot of time betting on greyhounds then you need to choose a bookmaker that can cater for your needs. Our recommendations above is the best place to start. However if you want to look at some other options as well, we’ve compiled a quick checklist of what you need to look for.
