Dancing On Ice returned to our screens for its fifteenth series in January as a host of celebrities hit the ice with their professional partners in a bid to win the judges and the public over with their performances.
The show first began in 2006 and has run every year since other than a three-year gap between 2015 and 2017.
Each week, celebrities and their assigned professional partners, perform a dance routine on the ice in front of the judges and a live audience. The judges award couples scores based on their performances which are then added to the leaderboard. These scores, coupled with the live public vote, determine which acts finish in the bottom two in that particular week. These two couples then perform a ‘Skate Off’ and it is up to the judges to decide which couple remains on the show and which couple leaves.
Dancing on Ice has proven to be an extremely popular show with the public and like other television shows such as The X Factor, The Voice, Love Island, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, Britain’s Got Talent and the non-ice version of Dancing On Ice, Strictly Come Dancing, it’s also a very popular show to bet on.
If you’re thinking of placing a bet on Dancing On Ice, this guide will show you how you can do that, where you can place your bets, what you can bet on as well as some general information and updates about Dancing On Ice 2023.

The 15th series of Dancing on Ice got underway on Sunday 15th January and will run over ten weeks with new episodes hitting our screens every Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
The following celebrities will feature on Dancing on Ice 2023.
The first contestant to leave Dancing on Ice 2023 was John Fashanu after the former professional footballer found himself in a skate-off against Ekin-Su. Some fans of the show believed it to be unfair that Ekin-Su had a whole week more than Fashanu to prepare her routine which ultimately lead to her receiving more praise from the judges.
The second star to leave Dancing on Ice 2023 was Michelle Heaton. The Liberty X member and her skating partner, Lukasz Rozycki, received the fewest public votes combined with the judges’ scores.
The third celebrity to be voted off Dancing on Ice 2023 was Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. It was the second week in a row that the 2022 Love Island winner found herself in the bottom two and this week she was up against Patsy Palmer in the skate off. Judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo decided it was the end of the road for Ekin-Su and she left the show with fellow Love Island winner and boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti watching in the audience.
Next to leave Dancing on Ice was Eastenders star Patsy Palmer. Patsy and her skating partner Matt went head-to-head in the skate-off with Darren Harriot and Tippy Packard and all four judges opted to save Darren.
The following week, contestants and their partners skated to famous songs from blockbuster films in a movie themed special. Comedian Darren Harriott found himself in a skate off against Siva Kaneswaran and it was The Wanted’s singer that the judges decided to save, making Harriot the fifth celebrity to leave the show.
Week seven of the Dancing on Ice saw former Hollyoaks actress & singer Carley Stenson leave the show. Unlike the departure of previous contestants, Stensn left the show due to sustaining a dislocated shoulder whilst performing a routine.
Week 8 resulted in two celebrities exiting Dancing on Ice with Siva Kaneswaran and Mollie Gallagher being eliminated in the semi-finals. The Wanted singer Kaneswaran performed on the ice to his bands song Gold Forever whilst Gallagher skated to My Immortal by Evanescence. However, it wasn’t enough as the judges chose to save former TOWIE star Joey Essex in the skate-off.
The final of Dancing on Ice 2023 will take place this coming Sunday.
Dancing On Ice started in 2006 but took a break for three years in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and so there have been fourteen winners of the show so far with 2023 producing the fifteenth.
