WhichBookie racing analyst Andrew Blair White provides a preview and betting tips for races at Fairyhouse on Wednesday 7th July.
Cameroon and Serbia were drawn into Group G along with Brazil and Switzerland which is a very competitive group. With Brazil being the bookies’ favourites to win the tournament, the fight is one between the other three for second place to make it through to the knockout stages.
Cameroon are the underdogs in Group F but it wouldn’t be completely surprising to see them get a result in this game. Serbia are a good team with some dangerous players but Cameroon won five of their six qualification matches to finish top of their group along with coming third in the Africa Cup Of Nations early this year

Serbia are the favourites in this game and are priced at 11/8 for the win. It’s definitely not a sure bet but they have the more experience at this level and picked up four points against Portugal during qualification, scoring twice in both matches showing that they are a team to be respected in the competition.
Instead of opting for a simple match result bet, I’m also including both teams to score. From Serbia’s eight qualification matches, they conceded at least once in seven of them. They remained unbeaten across all, winning six, and so I think Serbia to win & BTTS is a good bet on this game at odds of 9/2.
