WhichBookie racing analyst Andrew Blair White provides a preview and betting tips for races at Fairyhouse on Wednesday 7th July.
South Korea and Ghana go head-to-head in the lunchtime kick-off on Monday 28th November in their second match of the 2022 World Cup.
This may not be the most exciting of clashes but it’s an important one for both sides. With Portugal and Uruguay joining the duo in Group H, defeat today for either side could likely end their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages of the tournament.
Ghana were knocked out out of AFCON in the group stages but did finish top of their group to qualify for the World Cup. However, they only only averaged 1.17 goals per game and so it’s hard to see them being too much of a threat against South Korea who have proven to be relatively solid defensively.

Given that Ghana lack goals, I’m siding with South Korea for the win and they’re priced at a reasonable 8/5 to do so. Odds of 3/1 are available on South Korea to win to nil which I think is another good option if you are looking for a bet with a higher potential return.
SkyBet are also offering odds of 9/4 for South Korea to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 which covers the bet somewhat should Ghana grab a goal and they’re likely scores in my opinion.
