Premier League action returns this weekend starting with Leicester City v Newcastle United on Friday evening.

I can see why Leicester are favourites in this game but seeing them not being able to put away a 10-man Southampton for 80 minutes has left me a little reluctant to be overly confident about them. Newcastle have thrown a bit of a spanner in the works to some teams in recent weeks so I’m not sure at odds of around 4/9 I’d be confident about backing Leicester at that price. Maybe Over 2.5 Goals would be a decent bet if you wanted to have a play in this game.

This game will be going in my treble and I fancy Spurs at around even money. Leeds are capable of upsetting teams but I think Spurs are going to be just too strong for them. They had a very convincing win over Sheff Utd and it should give them a bit of confidence seeing Bale get a hat-trick. It’s good to see him back and firing.

I’ll be putting Palace to beat Sheff Utd in my double. Sheff Utd are looking for next season now and I don’t expect to see any miracles from them. Palace have had a few bad results on the spin but this is a perfect game for them to get back into winning ways. They should have too much quality for Sheff Utd.

This could be fascinating being it a dress rehearsal for the Champions League Final.
This is one of those games where I’d want to wait until the teams came out before having a bet on it as there are so many things that could happen between the two coaches and they may not want to give away too much before the final. I think we could see two very different teams to what we’ll see in the final in a couple of weeks time.
I’d probably be looking at a small play on the draw here.

Odds of around 3/10 on Liverpool aren’t great to have a single bet. I can see Liverpool winning but by a narrow margin so if I was having a punt on the game, it would probably be on Liverpool to win by one goal.
There is a little bit of positivity from a Southampton point of view getting a draw against Leicester with 10 men for 80 minutes but I don’t think we’ll have enough firepower to take Liverpool on.

Brighton to beat Wolves will be the second part of my treble. Their win against Leeds was a big boost for them and I think they’ll go to Wolves with a great deal of confidence. Wolves had a battering off Burnley and couldn’t put West Brom away and so I think Brighton are the better team here.

Villa have done some decent work with the squad they’ve had this season. I thought that they would have struggled more without Grealish in the team but they haven’t gone too bad. However, I do think United will have too much for them given their away form this season.
I’ll be putting United in my double this week with Palace.

This will be the final part of my treble and I’m going for West Ham. They have four fixtures left to have a real crack at a Champions League spot. I think Everton are just fizzling out and stumbling towards the end of the season a little bit.
I think West Ham have the bigger motivation in the game to go on and win it and the price on them at home is a pretty good one.

Arsenal are quite short odds here. You could give the odds a boost with an Arsenal -1 bet. I don’t see West Brom troubling them too much but I don’t really trust Arsenal as they’ve been quite mid-tablish this season.

The last game of the weekend will be my NAP. I can’t see how Fulham are favourites for this game if I’m honest and I can see the price of 5/2 on Burnley shortening by Monday. Fulham’s game is up but I’d expect Sean Dyche to still have his players going for it and Burnley taking the three points.
It hasn’t been a great run for Burnley but their win against Wolves was impressive and I expect that Burnley team to turn up and not the one that went up against West Ham.
