The Premier League is back after the break, and we’ve got a tasty lunchtime kick-off at the Emirates. Arsenal, still licking their wounds from a narrow defeat to Liverpool, welcome Nottingham Forest to North London. Both sides dropped points last time out, so this is about who responds better.
So, who gets back on track? Let’s dive in.
Arsenal’s injury list is looking rough. Bukayo Saka won’t return until later this month. Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz remain long-term absentees, and William Saliba is a big doubt after hobbling off against Liverpool. Ben White and Christian Nørgaard are being monitored too, while Leandro Trossard could feature if he shakes off a knock. The good news? Forest, though, aren’t pushovers. They’ve scored in five of their last seven away league matches, and with Gibbs-White pulling strings and Chris Wood lurking up top, they’ll fancy nicking one on the break.

Arsenal will control the ball, keep Forest pinned back, and create wave after wave of chances. The only real question is how long it takes for them to break the deadlock. Forest will sit deep and wait for counters, but against a side that loves dominating at home, that’s risky.
