Sky Bet are known for their betting offers and promotions. They regularly advertise huge price boosts and offer loyal customers weekly free bets via the Sky Bet Club. They’re a favourite among many horse racing punters as despite not always offering the best UK & Ireland racing odds, have a range of racing promotions available, including Best Odds Guaranteed, Money Back Specials (often as cash!), and of course, daily Extra Places on selected horse races.

Sky Bet Extra Places improve the value of each-way bets on eligible horse races. Each-way betting involves two bets: one on the horse to win and another on the horse to finish in a placing position. Traditionally, bookmakers pay out for a set number of places depending on the number of runners and the type of race it is. However, with Sky Bet’s Extra Places offer, the number of places that pay out is increased, giving punters a better chance of winning.

Extra Places are one of the most popular horse racing offers and taken advantage of daily by a large percentage of racing punters. Given the increased chance of a winning, they can significantly increase your overall returns from your racing bets and often worth taking up.
