The Premier League keeps rolling, and this weekend it’s Arsenal welcoming Crystal Palace to the Emirates. Arsenal are flying right now — unbeaten at home, top of the table, and looking every bit like title contenders again. Palace, on the other hand, are quietly doing their thing, sitting mid-table but making life difficult for anyone who underestimates them.
It’s North London versus South London. Two teams who know each other well — and there’s always a bit of bite in this one. So, who’s coming out on top this time? Let’s dive in.
Mikel Arteta’s side are unbeaten in their last five league games, and the home form is ridiculous — three wins and a draw in four at the Emirates. The Gunners have also kept three clean sheets at home, which tells you how organized they’ve been defensively.
There’s a small cloud, though. Martin Ødegaard is still out with that MCL issue, and Gabriel Jesus might be touch-and-go with a tight hamstring. Kai Havertz could start in the false nine again, with Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard either side of him. Declan Rice has been a machine in midfield, and his partnership with Jorginho has given Arsenal real control in games.
Palace have a few concerns of their own. Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise are both nursing knocks — and without them, their creativity dips big time. Jean-Philippe Mateta is expected to lead the line, with Jordan Ayew doing his usual tireless work out wide. Defensively, Joachim Andersen and Marc Guehi will have to be at their best to keep Arsenal’s attack quiet.
Arsenal: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Jorginho; Saka, Havertz, Trossard; Gyökeres
Crystal Palace: Henderson; Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Lerma, Hughes; Ayew, Eze (if fit), Schlupp; Mateta
This could be tighter than people expect, but Arsenal should still edge it. The Gunners have won 6 of their last 10 home meetings against Palace, and they haven’t lost to them in the last six league encounters. That’s a solid record.
You can usually count on goals at the Emirates. Arsenal have scored at least twice in 80% of their home matches this season. Palace have found the net in 80% of their away games too, so Over 1.5 Goals feels safe.
Still, I’m not entirely convinced both teams score here. Arsenal’s defense has been sharp, and Palace sometimes struggle to create chances against teams who dominate possession. BTTS “No” could be worth a look.
Betting angles worth a look:
Arsenal are in full flow right now. Arteta’s side are controlling matches, moving the ball quickly, and finding ways to win even when they’re not at their best. Palace will set up deep, try to frustrate, and look for counterattacks — that’s their best shot.
But over 90 minutes, Arsenal’s quality and patience should wear them down. You can see Saka or Trossard nicking one early, then Palace chasing shadows for much of the game.
Match Prediction: Arsenal to win. Bet with bet365.
If you’re the kind of fan who loves calling the exact score, here’s where it gets interesting. Arsenal have been pretty ruthless at home lately — scoring early, keeping control, and rarely giving much away. Palace can defend, sure, but keeping Arsenal quiet for 90 minutes at the Emirates is a big ask.
I’m going for 2-0 to Arsenal. It just feels right. The Gunners have that steady rhythm at home where they grab one in the first half, kill the game off after the break, and cruise through the final 20 minutes.
If you fancy something with longer odds, 3-1 Arsenal isn’t crazy either. Palace are always a threat from set pieces, and if Eze or Mateta get half a chance, they can take it. But overall, Arsenal’s firepower should be too much.
Correct Score Prediction: 2-0 to Arsenal. Bet with bet365.
The numbers point to a match with at least two goals — maybe more if Arsenal get going early. Arsenal have scored 11 goals in their last four home matches and conceded just once. Palace have looked solid but haven’t faced a team pressing this high yet.
Tips:
Over/Under Prediction: Over 1.5 Goals. Bet with bet365.
Here’s a combo that fits the way this game should go:
That’s a balanced bet with good coverage — if Arsenal dominate like they have been, all four legs have a solid chance.
Bet Builder Tip: Arsenal to win, Over 1.5 goals, Saka anytime scorer. Bet with bet365.

Arsenal are strong favourites at home. I’m backing the Gunners to win comfortably.
Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Crystal Palace.
Probably not. Arsenal’s defence at home has been rock solid.
Bukayo Saka or Viktor Gyökeres look the most likely anytime scorers.
