Catterick, also known as Catterick Bridge, sits beside the A1 in North Yorkshire and is one of the busiest courses in the county. It stages both Flat and jumps racing, with meetings in almost every month of the year.
Today's Catterick race card is shown in the feed above. Runners, jockeys, the going and the latest odds update automatically, so you're always looking at the current market.
Five Catterick fixtures remain in 2026: two on the Flat in October, then three jumps cards through to the end of December.

We don't currently post daily Catterick racing tips, but these track features are worth factoring into your bets:
The Flat course is a left-handed oval of roughly one mile and one furlong. It is sharp and undulating, with a downhill run from six furlongs out to three furlongs out. The five-furlong course starts on a chute and joins the round course at a dogleg.
The jumps course is also left-handed but two furlongs longer, at around one mile and three furlongs, and less undulating. It runs inside the Flat track in the home straight and outside it on the back straight. There are eight fences per circuit, including an open ditch on each straight, and five flights in hurdle races.
With a sharp track and a short straight, the draw carries more weight at Catterick than at most galloping courses. A low draw can help on the round course, where runners on the inside save ground around the turns. In sprints, an early position counts for more than stall number alone. The gravel subsoil keeps the ground mostly good, so front-runners are rarely held back by the going.
Catterick doesn't have Group races, but two feature events stand out on the calendar.
The festive meetings on 28 December and New Year's Day are among the best-attended racedays of the year. The summer calendar also includes a Ladies Day in August and a Beer Festival raceday.
Racing took place informally around Catterick from the mid-17th century, but the first official meeting was held at Easter 1783. A permanent track followed in 1813, and the grandstand that still stands today was built in 1906. The Catterick Racecourse Company was formed in 1923 and has run the course ever since.
The track has some famous names in its past. Red Rum won here in 1971, and Willie Carson rode his very first winner at Catterick in 1962. Collier Hill broke his maiden at the course before going on to win the Hong Kong Vase and the Irish St Leger.
The course is at Catterick Bridge, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 7PE, about a mile north-west of Catterick village. It sits right next to the A1(M), making it easy to reach by car from Leeds, Newcastle and Teesside. The nearest mainline stations are Darlington and Northallerton. Gates usually open around two hours before the first race.
Tickets and hospitality packages for Catterick races can be bought through the official racecourse website. Most racedays have a relaxed, smart-casual feel, although many racegoers dress up for Ladies Day and the Christmas meetings.
Wondering how to watch the Catterick races today live? Every race is shown on Racing TV. Many bookmakers also offer a free live stream to customers with a funded account or a bet on the race, and race replays usually follow shortly after.
Picking the right bookie can make a real difference. Best odds guaranteed is worth having on Catterick's competitive handicaps, as it pays out at the starting price when that beats the odds you took. On bigger fields, such as the Catterick Dash, look for bookmakers paying extra places on each-way bets.
The racecard feed at the top of this page shows whether there's a meeting at Catterick today. If there isn't, it shows the next fixture instead.
Results normally appear within a few minutes of each race finishing, including the full placings, starting prices and winning connections.
Yes. The results feed keeps the most recent Catterick meeting on display until the next one begins.
Yes. Every Catterick fixture is shown live on Racing TV, and many bookmakers stream the races too.
If a meeting is called off, usually after a failed inspection for frost or waterlogging, it is flagged in the racecard feed above. Bets on abandoned races are normally void and stakes are returned, but check your bookmaker's rules.
The next fixture is the Catterick Dash meeting on Saturday 17 October, followed by the Flat Finale on 27 October. Jumps racing then runs on 20 November, 15 December and 28 December.
The Christmas Meeting on 28 December is confirmed for 2026. Catterick traditionally races on New Year's Day as well, so check the fixture list once the 2027 dates are out.
The racecourse sits beside the hamlet of Catterick Bridge, so many racegoers use both names for the same track.
At Catterick Bridge, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 7PE, next to the A1(M).
Catterick is built on gravel subsoil, so it drains well and the going is usually good. Testing ground is rare, even in the jumps season. The bigger risk is winter cold: frozen ground causes more abandonments here than waterlogging, thanks to the course's northern location.
Heavy rain can also make the sharp home turn slippery, which led to Ladies Day being abandoned after two races in August 2022. If a Catterick race meeting looks doubtful, an early morning inspection is usually called, so check for updates before you travel or bet.
