Monday night under the lights, and it’s Everton welcoming West Ham to the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Everton have looked steady at home since Moyes returned, while West Ham’s defense has been shaky to say the least. The Toffees want to keep their momentum going, but West Ham badly need to stop the slide. So, who takes the points this time? Let’s find out.
Everton are still juggling injuries. Nathan Patterson (muscle), Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring), and Merlin Röhl (hip) are all sidelined. Vitaliy Mykolenko is also unlikely to feature. That means we’ll probably see O’Brien, Keane, Tarkowski, and Barry across the back line. Grealish should start again on the left, with Ndiaye buzzing around in support of Beto.
West Ham don’t have it much easier. Luis Guilherme (shoulder) and Niclas Füllkrug (muscle) are both out. That pushes more responsibility onto Callum Wilson up front, with Bowen and Paquetá pulling the strings behind him. Ward-Prowse and Fernandes will sit deeper, but the defensive structure has been a problem all season.

I can see goals in this one. Everton’s defence is stronger than West Ham’s, but they’ve still conceded in three of their last five. And West Ham’s matches are averaging 3.8 goals per game so far this season.
