Following the qualification rounds, 25 countries from around the world battle it out in the final to take home the winners award that is decided upon by both professional juries in each country and the public vote.

This year, the Eurovision Song Contest will take place from Tuesday 12th May to Saturday 16th May 2026.
Eurovision 2026 will be hosted in Vienna, Austria. The winners of the previous Eurovision generally host the contest the following year and with JJ winning Eurovision 2025 with her song ‘Wasted Love’, Austria will host the 2026 contest.
Two sets of semi-finals take place over the first two days before the Grand Final performances on the Saturday evening.
A total of 35 countries will participate in Eurovision 2026.
Following the two semi-finals this month, 25 countries made it through to the Grand Final.
The ‘Big Five’ countries which include the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy are not required to participate in the semi-finals and will progress automatically through to the final. This is because these countries contribute the most financially towards the organisers, the European Broadcasting Union. Therefore, you can bet safely on any of these five countries knowing that they will not be eliminated before the Grand Final.

Speaking about the song, Look Mum No Computer said he’s “absolutely buzzing” for people to finally hear it. He explained that Eins, Zwei, Drei first came together during a studio session using his synthesizer, “Kosmo”, and said he’s hugely proud of the final result.
He also shared that he wants the track to feel loud, fun, and impossible not to sing along to, hoping fans will fully embrace the chaotic energy of it. According to him, the team is already hard at work creating one of the most unforgettable Eurovision performances ever seen on stage. “See you in Vienna!” he added.
