Stakelogic To Pay £122,835 After Slot Game Timing Breaches

Stakelogic BV has agreed to pay £122,835 following a Gambling Commission investigation into online slot games that were found to be running faster than permitted under UK rules.

The case centred on the software provider’s slot game Tiger Temple 88, which Stakelogic self-reported after discovering it did not meet the required minimum time gap between game cycles.

Under Gambling Commission technical standards, online slot games must have at least 2.5 seconds between the start of one spin and the next. Tiger Temple 88 was found to have a 1.97-second gap, which put it below the required standard.

Further Checks Found More Games Affected

After Stakelogic reported the issue, the Gambling Commission asked the company for more information.

Stakelogic then retested its full portfolio of games available to UK players and found that another 15 titles also failed to meet the required 2.5-second minimum interval.

The shortfalls varied. Some games were only fractionally below the limit, while others fell further short. The regulator said the affected games were below the standard by between 0.001 seconds and 0.675 seconds.

Tiger Temple 88 was non-compliant between 28 May 2025 and 30 May 2025, while the other affected titles breached the rule at different points between 31 October 2021 and 30 October 2025.

The £122,835 settlement is being made in place of a formal financial penalty. Stakelogic will also contribute towards the Commission’s investigation costs.
