All of the most popular sports in the UK are available to bet on such as Football, Tennis, Rugby, Snooker, Darts, Golf, Horse Racing and Greyhounds, as well as worldwide sports with the likes of American Football, Basketball, Boxing, Table Tennis and MMA all available.

In terms of available sports, there’s really nothing to complain about at all and we were very impressed with the selection.

Moving onto the betting markets and there is a reasonable number offered by Planet Sport Bet. You will find more at bookies such as Betfred, Paddy Power and William Hill but all of the main markets are available along with dozens more for popular events such as Premier League football matches.

We were also impressed by the standard of odds available. When compared to the likes of Bet365 and Unibet, who often offer the best odds on high-profile football matches, Planet Sport Bet offered surprisingly close odds and in many cases, better. We found the same when comparing odds for Tennis, Basketball and Horse Racing which gives us confidence that customers are getting value when betting with the bookie.

Horse Racing

Horse racing is available to bet on with Planet Sport Bet but only races from the UK and Ireland are covered and international racing seems to be absent currently. However, this may not be an issue for many punters and we did find the odds for the races that were available to be very competitive.

Various bet types are accepted on horse racing such as Win, Each-Way, Forecasts and Tricasts, along with multiples such as Yankee’s, Canadian’s, Lucky 15’s and more.

We were pleased to see Best Odds Guaranteed available on all races at Planet Sport Bet which is a racing promotion that many new bookies do not offer. Take an Early or Board Price and if the Starting Price (SP) is bigger and your horse wins, your bet will paid out at the bigger price.

Clicking on the ‘In-Play’ icon in the main navigation bar will load a page with all live events that are available to bet on. Despite allowing customers to bet on around 30 different sports, it seems as though Planet Sport Bet’s coverage of lower leagues is rather poor. At the time of visiting the live betting section for the purpose of this review, there were only two live events listed for football and cricket. However, heading over to Bet365 and they had several dozen live events for sports such as football, tennis, basketball, bowls, cricket, cycling, esports, table tennis, volleyball and others. If you’re betting on sporting events in the top leagues then you’ll most likely be able to bet on them in-play with Planet Sport Bet but the same assurances can’t be made for the less popular events.

In-Play odds at Planet Sport Bet are of a similar standard to their pre-match odds and are very competitive when compared to some of the top UK bookies.

Live Streaming

Like many newly-launched bookies, Planet Sport Bet does not provide a live streaming service. We recommend Bet365 if you’d like to watch sports live via your bookmaker accounts and you can see all upcoming streamable events on our Bet365 Live Streaming page.

Customer Support

As with all of the betting sites that are operated by Playbook Engineering Ltd, live chat support is not available. This is a disappointment as it is the preferred method of contact for most customers. Planet Sport Bet is a solid new bookmaker that has a lot of things to like about it. Their odds are very competitive which is one of the main plus points of the brand and they have a good coverage of worldwide sports. We would like to see a few more betting markets available along with better coverage of the lower leagues and also the addition of e-wallet banking options.
