This page has today's Lingfield race card, live Lingfield racing results, upcoming fixtures and our Lingfield racing tips, along with a full guide to Britain's original all-weather track.
Lingfield Park is set in 450 acres of Surrey countryside, close to the Sussex and Kent borders and about 45 minutes by train from London Victoria. It has close to 80 fixtures a year across three codes: all-weather Flat racing on Polytrack throughout the year, turf Flat racing in summer, and National Hunt racing in the winter.
The Lingfield race card today shows every runner and rider, the draw, the surface, recent form, the latest odds and race times. It updates from final declarations right up to the off, so non-runners and going changes show as soon as they're announced. Lingfield racing results are added as each race is settled, and tomorrow's Lingfield race card appears once declarations close.
There are races all year round, so new all-weather fixtures are added regularly. Here are the upcoming Lingfield race meetings listed on the course's own events calendar for the rest of 2026:

If you're looking for Lingfield racing tips for today, here are some general tips to keep in mind for the track:
The all-weather track is a left-handed Polytrack circuit of just under a mile and a quarter, laid inside the turf course. Almost half of the circuit is flat. It then rises to the top of a slight hill before a downhill turn into the short home straight.
The one-mile, seven-, six- and five-furlong starts all run downhill, which makes Lingfield the sharpest of Britain's all-weather tracks. Polytrack replaced the original Equitrack surface in 2001, and it was relaid in 2012.
The turf course is a left-handed circuit of about a mile and a half, with a straight course of seven furlongs and 140 yards. The turn into the straight runs downhill, so horses in front at that point are hard to catch. The jumps course is left-handed and undulating, with fairly straightforward fences. Being handy turning into the straight often pays, especially in chases.
On the all-weather, the draw is especially important over a mile and a quarter and at the sprint starts, where a low draw can save valuable ground. On turf, there's a strong bias towards the stands' rail in straight-course races, and the track changes significantly when the ground turns testing.
The Polytrack gives consistent conditions all year round. In dry summers, turf meetings are sometimes switched to the all-weather. That happened in August 2026, when the BHA approved moving two turf fixtures to the Polytrack.
Lingfield Park was opened by the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, in 1890. It began as a jumps course and was granted permission for Flat racing in 1894. The Derby Trial and Oaks Trial were introduced in the 1930s, and during the Second World War the estate was used as a prisoner-of-war camp. That was the only time racing has stopped at Lingfield.
In 1989, Lingfield opened Britain's first all-weather racetrack, which used the Equitrack surface. Polytrack replaced it in 2001. A Marriott hotel and country club opened in 2010, and in 2012 the course became part of Arena Racing Company (ARC) after the merger of Arena Leisure and Northern Racing.
Over the last three seasons, Tony Carroll has trained 51 Flat winners at Lingfield. Andrew Balding (38) and James Owen (35) are next. Over jumps, Olly Murphy leads the hurdles trainers, and Gary and Josh Moore have the most chase winners.
Rossa Ryan is the leading Flat jockey at Lingfield with 63 winners, ahead of Luke Morris (58) and Paddy Bradley (42). Over jumps, Sean Bowen has the most winners over both hurdles and fences. Source: At The Races.
Lingfield Park is on Racecourse Road, Lingfield, Surrey, RH7 6PQ. It's about 15 minutes from Junction 6 of the M25 or Junction 10 of the M23, and there's plenty of free parking on site. Lingfield station is a five-minute walk away, with direct trains from London Victoria taking about 45 minutes.
Lingfield races tickets can be bought on the course website. General admission gives you access to the Grandstand Enclosure, the trackside lawns and the public bars. There's no single dress code at Lingfield races, because the rules depend on your ticket and are stricter in hospitality and restaurant areas. Many racegoers dress up for feature days and the summer music nights. The course also has a Marriott hotel and a golf club on site.
Every Lingfield meeting is shown live on Sky Sports Racing. Many bookmakers also offer free live streams to customers who have a funded account or have placed a bet on the race.
Lingfield races on more days than almost any other British course, so there are plenty of betting opportunities. Look for Best Odds Guaranteed, extra places on bigger all-weather handicaps, and enhanced odds on Finals Day.
Lingfield races throughout the year, often several times a week on the all-weather. If there's racing at Lingfield today, the race card and race times appear at the top of this page.
Lingfield racing results are added to this page as each race is settled, including the winners and starting prices. Results from earlier meetings stay available afterwards.
All-weather meetings at Lingfield are rarely called off, but turf and jumps fixtures can be lost to waterlogging or frost. Any abandonment is shown on this page as soon as it's announced.
It depends on your ticket. General admission is relaxed, but hospitality and restaurant areas have stricter rules.
Lingfield's all-weather track is Polytrack, which replaced the original Equitrack surface in 2001.
