This page has today's Warwick race card, live Warwick racing results, the 2026 fixtures and our Warwick racing tips, along with a full guide to the Jockey Club's jumps track in the heart of Warwickshire.
The course is about a five-minute walk from the town centre, with Warwick Castle nearby, and racing has been held on the site for more than two centuries. Since 2015 it has staged jumps racing only.
It's a sharp, left-handed track with five fences in quick succession down the back straight, so it's a real test for novice chasers. The Classic Chase in January and the Kingmaker Novices' Chase in February are its best-known races, while the New Year's Eve meeting is the busiest day of the year.
The Warwick race card today shows every runner and rider, recent form, weights, the latest odds and race times. It updates from final declarations right up to the off, so non-runners, jockey changes and going updates appear as soon as they're announced. Tomorrow's Warwick race card is added once declarations close.
Warwick racing results are added as each race is settled, with winners, starting prices and payouts. Yesterday's results and earlier meetings stay on the page.
Warwick's winter meetings are vulnerable to frost and waterlogging, so inspections are fairly common in January and February. If there's an inspection or Warwick races are cancelled today, the update appears here, along with any rescheduled races.
Warwick stages 18 jumps fixtures in 2026. Racing runs from January to early June, then returns in September, with a busy run of autumn meetings and the New Year's Eve fixture to finish the year. The Classic Chase meeting in January was abandoned. Here are the Warwick races fixtures for 2026:

If you're looking for Warwick racing tips for today, here are some general tips to keep in mind for the track:
The Warwick race course is a left-handed circuit, mostly flat apart from a fairly steep climb soon after the winning post. The ground then descends gradually into the turn for the back straight. The track has a long back straight but tight bends, so it plays as a sharp course, and Mick Fitzgerald calls it "very much a speed track".
The five fences that come close together on the back straight are the defining feature of the chase course. Even so, Warwick has one of the lowest fence casualty rates in Britain. The course also has a nine-hole golf course and a driving range in the middle.
Being close to the pace is a clear advantage at Warwick. Horses that race prominently can use their speed round the tight bends, while those held up need a clear run and a strong finish to win.
The going is often soft or heavy in midwinter, and frost is a regular threat to January meetings. The Classic Chase meeting was lost in both 2025 and 2026. In spring and autumn, the ground is usually good or good to soft. Check the going report and any inspection news on the morning of racing.
The Classic Chase is a Grade 3 handicap over three miles and five furlongs, run in mid-January. Past winners include Hey Big Spender, Shotgun Paddy and Hawkes Point. The Grade 2 Leamington Novices' Hurdle is run on the same day, and past winners include Inglis Drever and The New One. In 2026, the meeting was abandoned.
In February, the Grade 2 Kingmaker Novices' Chase is a recognised trial for the Arkle. Past winners include Voy Por Ustedes, Long Run and Finian's Rainbow. In 2026, it went to Steel Ally (10/11 favourite) for Sam Thomas and Dylan Johnston.
The New Year's Eve meeting is the busiest day of the year at Warwick. In 2026, gates open at 10.20am, with the first race at 12.20pm. Tickets start from £25 and hospitality from £60. There's a Centre Course Party Enclosure with live music during racing and after the last race.
Ladies Night is held on a Saturday evening in May, with racing, live music, a DJ after racing and the Style Awards for the best-dressed lady, man and couple. The 2026 meeting was on 9 May, and the 2027 date is Saturday 8 May.
Warwick has a long racing history, and its first grandstand was built in 1808. For many years it staged both Flat and jumps racing, but in 2014, after a fatal fall led to several Flat fixtures being moved, Jockey Club Racecourses ended Flat racing. The last Flat meeting was held on 26 August 2014.
Since 2015, Warwick has concentrated on jumps racing, and its facilities were redeveloped in 2018. Today, it's run by Jockey Club Racecourses, which also owns Cheltenham, Aintree, Sandown and Epsom.
Here are the leading jumps trainers at Warwick:
Harry Skelton leads the jockeys with 130 winners at 23%. Richard Johnson (63), Sam Twiston-Davies (57), Aidan Coleman (51) and Nico de Boinville (40 at 22%) are the other leading riders.
Warwick Racecourse is on Hampton Street, Warwick CV34 6HN, about a five-minute walk from the town centre. Parking is free on site. Warwick railway station is a short taxi ride from the course.
Tickets are cheaper online than on the gate. Prices for the New Year's Eve meeting start from £25. There's no formal dress code, and the racecourse asks guests to come dressed to feel their best, although many dress up for Ladies Night and New Year's Eve. For overnight stays, there are plenty of hotels in Warwick and nearby Leamington Spa.
Warwick racing is shown live on Racing TV, and Classic Chase Day is also broadcast on ITV Racing. Most UK bookmakers offer free live streaming of Warwick races to customers who have a funded account or have placed a bet on the race.
Warwick's big handicaps, especially the Classic Chase and the New Year's Eve card, attract large fields and plenty of betting interest. Best Odds Guaranteed means you get the starting price if it's bigger than the price you took. Extra places are common on the Classic Chase. Compare the latest offers from UK bookmakers before you bet.
The next fixture is on Tuesday 3 November 2026. Further meetings follow on 11 and 19 November, 10 December and New Year's Eve.
Warwick races on Thursday 31 December 2026. Gates open at 10.20am, the first race is at 12.20pm, and tickets start from £25.
Ladies Night is held on a Saturday evening in May. In 2026, it was on 9 May, and in 2027, it's on Saturday 8 May.
Warwick meetings are usually cancelled because of frost, snow or waterlogging in winter. The 2026 Classic Chase meeting on 10 January was abandoned.
