WhichBookie Seals Online Betting Sponsorship With Gateshead FC

WhichBookie is delighted to announce that we have agreed with Gateshead FC to become the club’s Official Online Betting Partner for the 2020/21 season. Gateshead play in the National League North which is the sixth tier of English Football and were still in with a chance of promotion to the National League in the 2019/20 season when fixtures were suspended in mid-March.

Gateshead can date their history back to 1899 and were members of the Football League between 1919 and 1960. The club were just 90 minutes away from promotion back to the Football League in 2014 when they reached the Play Off Final at Wembley Stadium but were beaten 2-1 on the day by Cambridge United. 

Gateshead are nicknamed The Heed and play their home games at Gateshead International Stadium which has a capacity of over 11,000 and has played host to many top athletics events and music concerts.

In April the National League announced the cancellation of the remaining normal season matches and a further announcement is expected shortly with regard to how the final placings for the 2019/20 season will be decided.
