Bet Central is a British independent bookmaker that was established in 2003. The brand operates a number of betting shops in the South of England, along with a telephone betting service and their newly launched online betting site, BetCentral.bet.
In our Bet Central review, we'll be sharing more information about the UK bookmaker and showing you what their online service has to offer.
Founded in 2003, Bet Central operates a number of betting shops across Essex, London and the South East of England. They’re also a popular racecourse bookie and you may have spotted them at Cheltenham, Royal Ascot, Newmarket, Epsom, Goodwood and Sandown.
Like many independent bookmakers, Bet Central aims to provide a more personal betting experience to their customers than they may receive from some of the bigger bookies out there.
As well as taking bets in their UK shops, at racecourses, and via their established telephone betting service, Bet Central now also has an online betting site.
The BetCentral website using the ‘A BET A’ platform which is used by several independent bookmakers who choose to venture online. It’s a simple platform but one that is easy to navigate.
Around 20 different sports are available to bet with BetCentral.bet and we were pleased to find that all of the most popular ones were covered.

Along with sports such as Football, Cricket, Darts, Golf, Basketball and Tennis, Horse Racing is also available to bet on which you’d expect from a bookmaker that is a prominent figure at racecourses across the UK. As well as covering races taking place across the UK & Ireland, Bet Central provides markets for racing in Chile, France, the US, South Africa, Australia and other countries. They have an impressive coverage of racing making them perfect for punters who would rather bet with an independent bookie.
We compared the odds available on several different sports, events and markets at BetCentral to those offered by some of the more established bookies such as William Hill and bet365. On most occasions, Bet Central were matching the prices of the bigger bookmakers and so we’re more than satisfied with the value BetCentral customers are getting.
Bet Central Promotions
Although you may find some betting offers and promotions available in Bet Central shops, there aren’t any promoted on their website. The BetCentral website is really as simple as can be and is a platform for customers to place their bets online without any hassle or distractions.
However, although the website may not be full of promotions and advertisements, Bet Central have been known to throw the odd offer out via their social media platforms. If you decide to join BetCentral, be sure to follow them on Twitter and keep a look out for Extra Places on horse racing, Faller Insurance, Money Back Specials and more.
