LeoVegas is one of the biggest online betting companies. In recent years, has launched other betting sites alongside their flagship brand, LeoVegas Sports & Casino.

As expected, you’ll find the most markets for football, where there can be 100+ pre-match markets for matches in leagues such as the English Premier League or the Spanish La Liga. 

Tennis is also popular on LeoVegas with matches covered for tournaments taking place all around the world in Grand Slam competitions such as Wimbledon, US Open and French Open.

All of the available sports can be found in the sports drop-down menu where you can select a sport and then filter the results by league, competition and country.

Horse Racing

All UK and Irish racing is available to bet on at LeoVegas as well as selected races from Australia, South Africa and the USA. We were disappointed to find no horse racing offers available at LeoVegas, especially Best Odds Guaranteed.

If you place a large number of horse racing bets, then there may be better bookmakers for you other than LeoVegas, such as Bet365, William Hill or Paddy Power, but if you only place the occasional racing bet, what they offer may be sufficient for you.

In-Play Betting

All available in-play betting markets at LeoVegas can be found by clicking on the ‘LIVE’ tab. There is a good number of in-play events at LeoVegas, although we found the number of in-play markets to be lacking for some sports. However, if you are looking to bet in-play on football or tennis matches in major competitions, then you should find the number of markets acceptable.

Like many bookmakers, LeoVegas offer a number of statistics for in-play events, of which there are many. For football matches, you’re able to view the form of each team, where they are in the league, the lineups, in-play stats and much more. These stats are unfortunately sometimes not available for lower-league games.

Live Streaming

LeoVegas currently offers live streaming for various sports, once you have placed a bet on the outcome.

 The LeoVegas app looks fresh with its trademark orange colours on a light grey background, and navigation throughout the app is easy with a selection of sports which can later be filtered by country or competition.

LeoVegas Android App

The Android app has a 4.2/5 rating from just 165+ LeoVegas reviews. Over 10,000 people have downloaded it to date. Most of the negative reviews are from people who lost bets. The positive ones mention the quick payments and simple layout.

LeoVegas iOS App

We tested the iPhone app for LeoVegas and were impressed first of all by the loading speeds. Everything loaded lightning quick and the use of white space made the game library options stand out from the screen.

There’s no clutter as we find with other betting apps. The LeoVegas app review score on the iOS App Store is a respectable 4.5/5 with 240+ ratings.

The Website

Although we found the LeoVegas website to be easy enough to navigate, it does have a slightly dated feel to it. The narrow, boxed layout doesn’t leave a lot of room, which means not a huge amount of content can fit on a visible part of the screen. However, the website loads fast and you shouldn’t have any issues finding the sports or market that you want. 

The current promotions can be found by clicking on the ‘promotions’ tab in the main nav bar and this will display all the latest offers for both the sportsbook and casino sections of LeoVegas.

LeoVegas gives customers the option to cash out their bets. Cash out gives users the option to lock in a return from their bets instantly before the bet is due to settle. Cash out at LeoVegas is available on selected events, both in pre-match and live, as well as on both single and multiple bets, although users cannot use the cash out feature for bets placed with free bets.

LeoVegas Casino Review

As mentioned earlier, LeoVegas started as an online casino back in 2011 and this part of the site is still the driving force of the brand. There are over 1,600 games available to play at LeoVegas Casino.

Account Settings

LeoVegas Sports is currently available only in English, but it offers additional account settings that customers can use to personalise their experience.

• Odds Format: By clicking the settings link in the main menu, customers can change the format of the odds displayed across the LeoVegas website to either Fractional, Decimal, or American.
• Odds Changes: Users can select whether or not to automatically accept changes in odds once a bet has been added to the bet slip. They can also opt to only accept odds if they have increased.

Expert Verdict

LeoVegas is best known for its online casino, but it also offers a sportsbook worth a look. We feel that the website could do with a bit of modernisation but overall, it holds up well against some of the more established bookmakers which have been around for longer.

The lack of sports-specific promotions is a big negative. However, if you’re someone who mainly plays casino games and wants to place a sports bet occasionally, you’ll struggle to find a more user-friendly platform to do so on.
