This page has today's Worcester race card, live Worcester racing results, upcoming fixtures and our Worcester racing tips, along with a guide to the summer jumps track on the banks of the River Severn.
Worcester Racecourse sits on Pitchcroft, a stretch of meadow by the River Severn, just a short walk from the city centre. It stages National Hunt racing from spring to autumn, and in 1995 it became one of the first courses in Britain to host summer jumping. It doesn't race in winter, because the Severn regularly floods the course.
The Worcester race card today shows every runner and rider along with recent form, the latest odds and race times. It updates from final declarations right up to the off, so non-runners and going changes show as soon as they're announced. Worcester racing results are added as each race is settled, and tomorrow's Worcester race card appears once declarations close.

If you're looking for Worcester racing tips for today, here are some general tips to keep in mind for the track:
The Worcester race course is a flat, left-handed oval of about 13 furlongs, with easy turns and a long home straight. There are nine fences per circuit, five on the back straight and four in the home straight. They're portable fences and are known as some of the most straightforward in Britain.
Mick Fitzgerald has compared Worcester to Newbury or Newcastle, describing it as a good galloping track with fair fences. Its flat, even surface and easy jumps make it a fair test, and many West Country trainers use it to give their horses racecourse experience.
There are no starting stalls in jump racing, so the draw doesn't apply at Worcester. On fast summer ground, being handy is a big advantage. On softer ground in spring and autumn, the long straight gives held-up horses a better chance.
Because Worcester races mostly in the warmer months, the going is often good or good to firm. Its riverside location means heavy rain can soften the track quickly, and the course has been badly flooded before. In 2007, all fixtures after 30 June were cancelled because of flooding.
Worcester's main appeal is its summer jumping programme. Competitive handicaps and novice races run through the summer, and many of them are on evening cards.
Racing has taken place at Pitchcroft since at least 1718, which makes Worcester one of the oldest racecourses in Britain. It held Flat racing until 1966, and since then it has staged National Hunt racing only. In 1995, it was one of the first courses to introduce summer jumping, which is now its main programme. The course is owned by Worcester City Council and leased to Arena Racing Company, and a new weighing room complex opened in 2024.
Jonjo O'Neill is the leading trainer at Worcester with 118 winners. Peter Bowen and Neil Mulholland (70 each) are next, followed by David Pipe (64) and Nigel Twiston-Davies (59). In recent seasons, Olly Murphy and Dan Skelton have been the most successful trainers.
Sam Twiston-Davies has ridden the most winners at the course with 117. AP McCoy rode 109 winners here at a remarkable 28% strike rate. Sean Bowen is the leading current rider, with 85 winners. Source: IrishRacing.com and At The Races.
Worcester Racecourse is on Grand Stand Road, Pitchcroft, Worcester, WR1 3EJ. Worcester Foregate Street station is about a 10-minute walk away, and Worcester Shrubhill is about 20 minutes on foot. If you're driving, leave the M5 at Junction 6 and follow the A449 towards the city centre and the brown racecourse signs. Parking in the Centre Course Enclosure is free, and the car park postcode is WR1 3EH.
Under-18s go free with a paying adult at most fixtures, and over-60s get £5 off at the gate. There are also discounts for groups of 10 or more. Being so close to the city centre, Worcester is an easy place to combine a day at the races with a trip into town.
Every Worcester meeting is shown live on Sky Sports Racing. Many bookmakers also offer free live streams to customers who have a funded account or have placed a bet on the race.
All the major bookmakers price up every Worcester race. Look for Best Odds Guaranteed, which pays the starting price if it's bigger than the odds you took, and extra places on the bigger summer handicaps.
Check the fixtures table above. If there's racing at Worcester today, the race card and race times appear at the top of this page.
The final Worcester meeting of 2026 is on Wednesday 21 October. Racing returns in May 2027.
Ladies Day is held in early June. In 2026, it was on Saturday 6 June.
The course is next to the River Severn and often floods in winter, so Worcester only races from spring to autumn.
Worcester racing results are added to this page as each race is settled, including the winners and starting prices. Results from earlier meetings stay available afterwards.
Worcester Foregate Street station is about a 10-minute walk from the racecourse.
