Ruby Bet Review

Everything you need to know about Rubybet

Ruby Bet is a relatively new online betting site operated by ProgressPlay which also provides platforms for other brands such as MobileWins, OnlineBetting Ltd and many others.

The site was launched in 2019 and offers sports betting as well as an online casino featuring hundreds of games from various providers.

In this Ruby Bet review, we’ll be looking at what the betting site has to offer and whether we recommend opening an account with them over some of the more established bookies.

Sports & Betting Markets

For a relatively new bookmaker, Ruby Bet offers a great range of sports to bet on. As well as all of the sports which you’d expect to find at a UK bookmaker such as Football, Horse Racing, Tennis, Golf and Darts, there is also an excellent selection of alternative sports such as Fotsale, Sailing, Handball and event Pesapallo which is a rounders-type game and is the national sport of Finland but is also played in other countries such as Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, and Canada’s northern Ontario.

You’ll also find a wide range of worldwide political betting markets and markets for betting on popular TV shows and movies.

With the sports betting platform being provided by ProgressPlay, you can be sure that there will be a large number of betting markets available for the vast majority of sports. This is especially true for events in top leagues and competitions such as the English Premier League or Spanish La Liga where you can often find 300-400 different betting options for individual matches ranging from the match winner or correct score to specific players to be sent off or the method of the first goal.

Ruby Bet odds seem competitive compared to the bigger bookies and we wouldn’t expect too many complaints with the standard of the odds on offer for the majority of sports and markets.

Horse Racing

Ruby Bet has introduced horse racing as a betting option. However, options are limited as they currently only feature U.S Racing with no races from the UK or Ireland available to bet on. This is a disappointment as many of their customers will be from the UK where horse racing is such a prominent sport to bet on.

In-Play Betting

There is an excellent range of live sports to bet on at Ruby Bet which can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Live’ tab. The majority of pre-match events can be bet on in-play with sports such as Football, Tennis, table Tennis, Darts, Ice Hockey, Volleyball, E-Sports, Cricket and many more all available.

The number of in-play betting markets is also reasonable with sports such as football having the largest number, especially for games in top leagues and competitions.

When comparing the in-play odds at Ruby Bet to those at the likes of Bet365, William Hill and Betfred, they held up well with some being slightly higher and some slightly lower as you would expect. Overall, they seemed to offer good value.

Live Streaming

Unfortunately, live streaming is not a feature which is available to Ruby Bet customers presently. However, for live events, a visual representation of in-play events is available which displays information such as when there is a goal, a throw-in, a substitution or free-kick in a football match or when there is an Ace or break of serve in a tennis match. This information along with a range of in-play statistics can help you determine the best bets to place when you are unable to watch the event live.

Customer Service

Support for Ruby bet customers is available via both email and live chat which can be accessed from 8am – 12am GMT 7 days a week. Response time to emails is generally acceptable but for a quick answer to your questions, we recommend connecting to a live support agent who should be able to deal with your query within a matter of minutes.

Ruby Bet App

Currently, there is no Ruby Bet App available to download for either iOS or Android devices. However, the Ruby Bet website is fully optimised for mobile devices which should provide a sufficient solution for those wanting to bet when away from their PC. The mobile website is excellent, easy to navigate and allows customers to access everything that they’re able to on the desktop website including pre-match & in-play markets, deposit & withdrawals, cash out and both sports betting and casino games.

Ruby Bet Website

With the Ruby Bet platform being provided by ProgressPlay, you may be familiar with the layout if you have used other sites using the same platform such as OnlineBetting Ltd or Interbet. The website is user-friendly with a long list of sports in the sidebar and the main markets and odds taking centre stage on the page.

Access to the sports betting and casino sections of the site can be accessed by the main nav menu, as can the promotions page and the list of support opptions.

Overall, ProgressPlay and Ruby Bet provide a well-structured site which is easy to use and well laid out.

Ruby Bet Casino

As well as offering a sportsbook, Ruby Bet also features an online casino which hosts hundreds of online casino games ranging from slots and table games to virtual betting and live dealer games.

There us a huge range of games available such as Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Casino Stud Poker as well as top slots from various provides such as NetEnt, Playtech and more.

The game selection at Ruby Bet casino is impressive and should satisfy both the casual casino play and those who play more regularly.

Ruby Bet Live Casino

Almost 50 games are featured in the Ruby Bet Live Casino where players can play games with real-life dealers and croupiers. Games are provided by NetEnt and Evolution Gaming with various versions of Blackjack and Roulette being available as well as Three Card Poker, Dragon Tiger, Lightning Roulette, Baccarat and more.

Unfortunately, Ruby Bet Live Casino doesn’t feature any game-show type games such as Monopoly Live, Deal or No Deal Live, Mega Ball or others which we would like to see available.

Ruby Bet Virtual Sports

On-demand virtual sports games are available at Ruby Bet. There isn’t a dedicated section for Virtual Sports and you’ll find them in the Ruby Bet Casino. Available Virtual Sports include Virtual Horse Racing, Football, Greyhounds, Tennis, Racing, Trotting and Speedway. All of the Virtual Sports are on-demand meaning that you don’t have to wait for the scheduled event to start. Simply load the game of your choice, place your bets and the event will begin.

A range of banking options are available for both deposits and withdrawals at Ruby Bet including card payments and a variety of e-wallets options such as Neteller, Skrill and PayPal.

Ruby Bet is a relatively new bookmaker to hit the scene but offers a lot in terms of sports, betting markets and an extensive range of casino games.

Some improvements to the service would be the addition of a few more live casino games available along with UK & Irish horse racing markets.
