SBK was developed by the team which operate Smarkets – One of the biggest online betting exchanges in the world. One advantage of using betting exchanges over bookmakers is that you can generally get better odds due to the relatively high margins bookmakers apply to bets. Sports & Betting Markets

22 different sports are available to bet on through the SBK app which is less than what is on offer with the majority of top bookies. However, more sports have been added since the service was launched and there may be more to come in the future. The vast majority of customers will be satisfied with the available sports as all of the major ones are covered such as football, horse racing, cricket, basketball, tennis, darts, greyhounds and golf. There is also the option to bet on TV & Entertainment, Politics and Current Affairs.

A reasonable range of markets are available for most sports, although not as many as you will find at some of the more established bookies. However, for sports such as football, the most popular markets are available such as the match winner, correct score, over/under markets, Asian handicaps, half betting and more.

Horse Racing

An excellent selection of worldwide horse racing is available to bet on with SBK races from the UK, Ireland, Australia, South Africa and Japan all covered.

Unfortunately, Best Odds Guaranteed is not currently available with SBK, nor are Lucky 15 bets.

In-Play Betting

In-play betting is available via the SBK App which means that you can take advantage of top prices on both pre-match and live markets.

All live events which are available to bet on can be found by clicking on the ‘LIVE’ button in the app. Users can then browse all in-play events or select a sport to filter the results.

There are a reasonable number of in-play markets available with SBK which should satisfy the majority of users but similar to the number of pre-match markets available through SBK, more can be found with some of the bigger bookies. However, if you generally stick to the main markets then getting bigger odds with SBK may be enough of a reason for you to bet with them.

Live Streaming

Live streaming is not currently available through the SBK app and we hope that this will be a feature which is added in the near future. As SBK claims to offer some of the best odds around, it would be great for customers to be able to stream live events and especially horse racing, which they have bet on.

Customer Service

Being a dedicated mobile betting service, you may think that the customer support options would be limited. However, this is far from the case as SBK offers support to customers via email, telephone as well as live chat. Additionally, you can also ask the team questions via Twitter by including ‘@sbk’ in your Tweet.

Emails are generally replied to within the same day and the live chat feature is available directly via the app which makes it easy to get in touch with the SBK team wherever you are.

Banking

Customers at SBK have a number of options when it comes to banking with a various methods accepted. As well as debit cards, eWallets such as Trustly, PayPal, Skrill and Neteller are all accepted.

There are no deposit fees and the minimum deposit is £10 and maximum £10,000.

Withdrawals are generally processed very quickly with eWallet withdrawals reaching accounts within 24 hours and withdrawals to cards taking 2-5 days on average.
