This page has today's race card, live results, the full fixture list and our racing tips, along with a guide to one of the west of Ireland's best-loved summer evening tracks.
Set at Lenabane, just outside the county town, the course stages around 10 meetings a year between May and October, with a mix of Flat and National Hunt racing. Most cards are run on Monday or Tuesday evenings, and the course has a strong reputation as a nursery for future stars.
The Roscommon race card today shows every runner and rider, the draw for Flat races, recent form, the latest odds and race times. It updates from final declarations right up to the off, so non-runners and going changes show as soon as they're announced. Roscommon race results are added as each race is settled, and tomorrow's Roscommon race card appears once declarations close.
The track holds 10 meetings in 2026. Most are summer evening cards, followed by two afternoon fixtures in the autumn. The final meeting of the season is on Monday 12 October. Here is the full Roscommon fixture list for 2026:

If you're looking for Roscommon racing tips for today, here are some general tips to keep in mind for the track:
The Roscommon race track is a right-handed oval of about a mile and a quarter. The bends are sharp, and the home straight rises steadily over the last three and a half furlongs. Racing has been held at the current site at Lenabane, on the edge of Roscommon town, for well over a century.
Over jumps, the course is fairly rectangular and mostly flat. The home straight is more undulating than the rest of the circuit, and the run-in after the last fence is about 200 yards. There are six hurdles per circuit, and the fences are known to ride well, which makes Roscommon a popular place to start young chasers.
The draw isn't a major factor on the Flat at Roscommon, because the long run-in gives horses time to find room. There's no significant positional bias over jumps either, although horses that handle the sharp bends usually do best.
Because racing at Roscommon is mainly in summer, the ground is often good or good to yielding on the Flat. The September and October fixtures can be softer, and the rising finish then becomes more of a test of stamina.
Roscommon's two feature races are run at opposite ends of the season:
Unofficial racing at Roscommon dates back to 1837, and the first official race meeting was held in 1885. Racing stopped for 12 years, from 1936 to 1948, but it has run without a break ever since. Under long-serving manager Michael Finneran, appointed in 1998, millions of euro have been invested in the course's facilities. Roscommon has also hosted concerts, including the Day with the Stars country music festival in 2025.
Gordon Elliott is the leading National Hunt trainer at Roscommon with 48 winners, followed by Henry de Bromhead with 29. Willie Mullins has a 24% strike rate from fewer runners. On the Flat, Dermot Weld, Ger Lyons, Joseph O'Brien and John Oxx have all trained more than 40 winners at the course. Oxx has the best strike rate of the four at 22%.
Ruby Walsh is still Roscommon's leading National Hunt jockey with 38 winners. On the Flat, Declan McDonogh (57 winners) and Colin Keane (51) lead the way. Source: IrishRacing.com.
