How Does Live Deal or No Deal Work?

Playing Deal or No Deal Live

So, you’ve qualified and may have topped up the value of the briefcases. It’s now time to play the game and see what prize you have won.

With Deal or No Deal, you are always guaranteed a prize of some value. The value of your prize will depend on the value of the last briefcase or if you accept one of the bankers offers.

To begin with, the hosts assistant opens 3 briefcases. The numbers in those briefcases are then removed from the board. The banker then makes you an offer which you can accept or decline (‘Deal’ or ‘No Deal’). If many low-value numbers are removed, it’s likely that the bankers offer will be good. If many of the high-value numbers are removed, the bankers offer will be lower.

This process happens again with the assistant next opening 4 briefcases and the numbers within removed. Another bankers’ offer is presented which you can again, accept or decline.

This happens a third and a fourth time until there are just 2 briefcases left.

If you are still in the game at this point and have not accepted a bankers offer, you have 3 options.

1. Accept the bankers final offer
2. Receive the value of the number hosts briefcase (not yet disclosed)

Let’s start at the beginning as there are three stages to the game and for each you must make decisions.

First of all, should you select ‘Normal’, ‘Easy’ or ‘Very Easy’ mode when qualifying?
