The Paddy Power ‘2 Up’ offer is one of the most popular betting offers of recent times. Bet365 run a similar promotion which they call the ‘Early Payout Offer’ which works in the same way with minor differences in the terms.
The 2 Up offer applies to football matches and should the team you back go 2 goals up at any point in the match, Paddy Power will settle your bet as a winner regardless of the final result.
For example, let’s say that Liverpool were playing Tottenham and you placed a £100 bet on Liverpool to win.
Liverpool are 1-0 up at half time and score a 2nd to go 2 goals up shortly after half time. At this point, Paddy Power will class your bet as a winner and your bet will be settled within 15 minutes. Even if Tottenham scored 2 goals to end the match as a draw, or 3 goals to win the match, your bet would still win as your selection went 2 goals ahead during the game.
There are many times where teams have taken a 2 goal lead only to throw it away and either draw or lose and with the Paddy Power 2 Up offer, you don’t have to worry about that happening as your bet will still win.
Although 2 Up doesn’t apply to all football matches, it does apply to every match taking place in the leagues and competitions listed below.
Only bets placed pre-match on the Win-Draw-Win market will count with bets on the draw not being eligible.
The maximum payout on the offer is £2,500 per customer per match which is less than the maximum winnings offered by Bet365 but is still a good amount and should satisfy the majority of punters.
