One of the challenges in betting on National Hunt races is backing a horse that will finish the race. With several fences to be jumped around each circuit, it’s inevitable that there will occassionally be fallers if when they are the horse you have backed, your bet is over before the race has even finished.
However, there is a way to cover yourself when this happens and that’s by betting with a bookie that offers Faller Insurance.
Along with several other generous racing offers, Quinnbet offers Fallers Insurance which is available on selected races throughout the National Hunt season.
Eligible races will be displayed on the Quinnbet website and app when available and you’ll also be notified via email/text message if you have opted-in to those communication options.
To qualify, simply place a single or each way bet on an eligible race or meeting and if your horse falls, Quinnbet will refund your stake!
For Fallers Insurance to apply, your bet must be on one of their eligible races or meetings and the race must have a minimum of 6 runners.
Note that your horse must fall for the refund to be awarded. If your horse unseats its rider or is brought down, your bet will not be eligible for a refund.
The maximum refund you can receive is £10 per customer per eligible race and refunds are credited as free bets which will be added to your account automatically by 12pm the following day.
If your bet is a single, your full stake, up to a maximum of £10, will be refunded.
If your bet is each way, the win part, up to a maximum of £10, will be eligible for a refund.
Free bets credited as part of any refund will be valid for 7 days and can be used on sporting events at Quinnbet at odds of 1/2 (1.50) or greater.
