Corbett Bookmakers has been owned by the Corbett family since it was created in 1947 and is still managed by Nicky and Michael who are 2 of the current Directors. The holding company for the group reported a Turnover of £171M for the year to 31st March 2019. Corbett Bookmakers is the largest independent betting and gaming company in Wales and is a fourth-generation family managed company. The business uses the strapline  “The Sports Fans Sportsbook since 1937”

The company employs around 200 staff and as well as an extensive betting shop estate covering North Wales, Cheshire and Yorkshire, Corbett Bookmakers also trades from betting pitches on racecourses throughout the UK including Cheltenham, Aintree and York. The company trades online as Corbettsports.com and also provides it’s technology to other independent bookmakers such as Chisholm Bookmakers as a white-label service.
