This page has today's race card, live results, the full fixture picture and our racing tips, along with a guide to the course that staged Britain's first evening race meeting.
Hamilton Park is on Bothwell Road, just south of Glasgow and a few minutes from the M74. It's a Flat-only course that races from May to September, and in 2026 it celebrated 100 years at its current site. It's known for its themed racenights and live music, and for a stiff, undulating straight that catches out plenty of front runners.
The Hamilton race card today shows every runner and rider, the draw, recent form, the latest odds and race times. It updates from final declarations right up to the off, so non-runners and going changes show as soon as they're announced. Hamilton race results are added as each race is settled, and tomorrow's Hamilton race card appears once declarations close.
Hamilton Park held 18 fixtures in its 2026 centenary season, which ran from early May to the end of September. Here are the main Hamilton race meetings from 2026:

If you're looking for Hamilton racing tips for today, here are some general tips to keep in mind for the track:
The Hamilton race course is a right-handed, undulating track with a straight six-furlong course and a pear-shaped loop at the far end. Races of a mile and three furlongs or more start in the home straight. The runners go the 'wrong way' up the straight, around the lower bend and the loop, and then come back into the home straight via the top bend.
The most important feature is the dip about three furlongs out, followed by a steady uphill finish. It's a fair but demanding test, so tactics and stamina matter even over the sprint trips.
On good ground, the draw makes little difference over five and six furlongs. On soft or heavy going, the high draws on the straight course do much better, and in longer races runners usually move to the far rail. Over a mile, low draws have had a slight advantage.
Hamilton can ride very heavy after wet weather, and the dip and climb in the straight then become a real test of stamina. In dry summer spells, the going is usually good or good to firm, which brings faster horses into the reckoning.
Racing in Hamilton began in 1782 at Chatelherault, just outside the town, and jump racing continued there until 1907. The current course on Bothwell Road opened in July 1926 after more than £100,000 was raised, which means 2026 was its centenary season.
In 1947, Hamilton became the first racecourse in Britain to stage an evening meeting, and it later held one of the first morning meetings in 1971. The Hamilton Park Trust was set up in 1973 to secure racing at the course, and it still owns Hamilton Park today, reinvesting all its profits. In 2026, prize money at the course passed £1.74 million for the first time.
Jim Goldie is the most prolific trainer at Hamilton in recent seasons, with 18 winners. Tim Easterby (28%) and Edward Bethell (32%) have the best strike rates among the leading yards.
Rowan Scott, David Allan and Paul Mulrennan have each ridden nine winners at Hamilton over the same period, and Scott's strike rate of 39% is the best of the three. Source: Geegeez.
Hamilton Park Racecourse is on Bothwell Road, Hamilton, ML3 0DW. Leave the M74 at Junction 5 and follow the brown signs. Hamilton West station is about a 15-minute walk away, with trains from Glasgow Central. The 255 bus also runs regularly from Glasgow city centre and stops outside the course.
Advance adult tickets for most racedays cost around £27 online, and under-18s go free with an adult. Feature nights cost more, with Ladies' Night at £40 in advance. The dress code is smart casual, and football colours are discouraged. On Ladies' Night, many racegoers wear hats and fascinators, and there are prizes for the Best Dressed Lady and Man of Style.
Hamilton's racenights are among the most popular in Scotland, with live music after the racing. The 2026 Cube Glass Ladies' Night was held on Saturday 1 August, with Nadine Coyle performing after the last race.
The Saints & Sinners charity night, held in June, asks racegoers to wear white or red, and the Lanark Silver Bell Racenight in August features a set from George Bowie's GBX Anthems.
Every Hamilton meeting is shown live on Racing TV, and the Sky Bet Sunday Series card is also shown on ITV Racing. Many bookmakers offer free live streams to customers who have a funded account or have placed a bet on the race.
All the major bookmakers price up every Hamilton race. Look for Best Odds Guaranteed, and extra places on the bigger handicaps such as the Lanark Silver Bell and the Scottish Stewards' Cup, where big fields often throw up surprise results.
Hamilton Park only races between May and September. The 2026 season has finished, and racing returns in May 2027.
Hamilton racing results are added to this page as each race is settled, including the winners, placed horses and starting prices. Results from earlier meetings stay available afterwards.
Ladies' Night is usually held in the summer. In 2026, it was on Saturday 1 August, with Best Dressed Lady and Man of Style competitions.
The dress code is smart casual. Football colours are discouraged, and many racegoers dress up for Ladies' Night.
No. Hamilton Park stages Flat racing only. Jump racing in Hamilton ended in 1907, before the move to the current course.
Leave the M74 at Junction 5 and follow the brown signs. By train, Hamilton West station is about a 15-minute walk from the course, and the 255 bus runs from Glasgow city centre.
