Aintree Racecourse is one of the most iconic venues in the UK for horse racing, best known for hosting the prestigious Grand National. However, Aintree’s year-round schedule includes some of UK’s biggest races and offers several betting opportunity for racing punters. WhichBookie’s racing experts will be sharing Aintree tips throughout the season. As always, our horse racing tips are 100% free to all visitors.
The racecourse is a National Hunt track located in Merseyside, on the border of Liverpool. It has three different courses within the track, with the Hurdles, Mildmay and National courses all providing very different tests for horses.
Aintree is best known for hosting the Grand National which takes place in April each year. The race attracts a huge amount of bets from both seasoned racegoers to those who may have never placed a bet before. Due to the sheer scale of people placing wagers on the Grand National, there is a huge demand for betting tips around the time of the race. With 40 horses running in the Grand National, picking a winner isn’t an easy task. Many people opt to follow the advice of industry experts, including our very own Will Smith who provides Grand National tips in the months, weeks and days leading up to the big race.
Along with the Grand National, you’ll find tips for Aintree races such as the Aintree Hurdle, the Melling Chase, the Sefton Novices’ Hurdle, the Becher Chase and many others.
All available Aintree tips will be shown at the top of this page.

Along with his EW Lucky 15s, Will Smith will be sharing his daily value tips for the today’s Aintree racing.
The National Course is the longest, with it being 2 miles and 2 furlongs in length and like all the courses at Aintree – is left-handed. There are sixteen fences on a single circuit of the National Course. These fences have been reduced in size over the last number of years but are recognised as some of the toughest fences to jump in the whole country.
The Mildmay Course is the course for the regulation chases held at Aintree throughout the year. It is a much tighter track and can suit slightly more agile horses, as it is only 1 mile and 2 furlongs long with eight fences per circuit. However, there are two long straights and it can be a good course for a galloping horse who can get into a good jumping rhythm. It is a flat course but due to a long run-in, and a long home straight – can sometimes be tough to stay.
The Hurdles Course is the oldest of the three courses at Aintree and is traditionally a very fair track for hurdle races. This course is around 1 mile and 3 furlongs per circuit and includes six hurdles. Similarly to the Mildmay Course, there are two long straights with sharp bends.
