At the time of writing this review, Gentingbet were offering betting on 27 different sports. Some bookmakers offer a handful more but the vast majority of customers will be more than happy with those available. You’ll obviously find events to bet on for sports such as football, tennis, horse racing, rugby, basketball, boxing and darts, but there are also events for UFC, cycling, Aussie rules, hurling and many other less popular sports. Overall, there is a good selection of sports available for customers.

Gentingbet have also done well with the number of markets they offer on sporting events. There is a huge number of pre-match markets for football, as you would hope there would be, with popular leagues such as the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A having the most. There is also a good selection of markets for other sports such as tennis where you can bet on the match winner, the player to score the most aces, set betting and more.
After comparing the odds at Gentingbet for some high-profile football matches and a number of horse races, we found them to be very competitive compared to some of the more established bookmakers. We don’t expect many customers to have any issues with the odds on offer both pre-match and in-play.
Gentingbet covers horse racing taking place around the world including in Australia, USA, Japan and the UK & Ireland. Best Odds Guaranteed is available on all UK & Irish races and you can often find enhanced odds on horses in the Price Boosts section of the website.

Another positive about betting with Gentingbet is the bonuses which are awarded to customers who have Lucky 15, Lucky 31 or Lucky 63 bets which either win or have just one winning selection. Customers who have Lucky bets which win will receive a bonus on top of their winnings of between 10% and 25% and those who have just one winning selection in their Lucky bet will receive double odds on that bet.
More information can be found in the table below.

Although the number of in-play markets available on Gentingbet is reasonable, we were a little disappointed with the number of in-play events. For example, at the time of writing this review, Gentingbet were accepting in-play bets on three different football matches whereas Paddy Power had 14 matches. However, it’s mainly events in lesser-known leagues and competitions that are missing and so you shouldn’t have any issues finding in-play events for the vast majority of football matches or for tennis, rugby and basketball etc.
All in-play events can be found via the in-play tab in the nav bar and you can filter the results by sport by clicking on the various icons.
In-play odds at Gentingbet seemed competitive against other bookmakers and as mentioned, the number of in-play markets is acceptable for the majority of sports.
Unfortunately, Gentingbet do not currently offer a live streaming service. This is disappointing given that many of the top bookmakers provide this feature which is extremely popular with customers, especially for horse racing.
However, when betting in-play, you will be able to view a range of stats for the event which may help you make a more informed decision as to which bets to place. For example, for in-play football matches, you’ll be able to view stats such as the number of corners per team, the number of red & yellow cards, the number of substitutions and more.
Customer support at Gentingbet is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can connect with the support team either by email, telephone or via live chat. The support page is accessible via the main nav bar which will open a page listing all the contact methods. Connecting to a support agent via live chat can be done by clicking on the speech icon in the bottom right corner.
Gentingbet support are generally quite quick to reply to emails and when we tested, we were connected to a live chat agent within 30 seconds. Unfortunately, there is no help section containing frequently asked questions but as the support team are quick to reply, this shouldn’t be too much of an issue the majority of the time.
You can download the Gentingbet app for free on your mobile phone or tablet and it is available for both Android and iOS devices.
The Gentingbet app isn’t the best app out there compared to some other bookmaker apps but is far from terrible. Unlike the majority of other bookie apps which mimic the mobile version of the website almost identically, the gentingbet app looks slightly different. Firstly, there is no drop-down menu containing a list of sports. Instead, users can swipe left and right to choose a sport. We would definitely prefer a standard menu in the app but it’s not a huge problem.
Secondly, you can only access the sports betting side of Gentingbet via the app. If you wish to play casino games, you must either visit the mobile version of the website or download the Genting Casino app.
Overall, the Gentingbet app is slightly disappointing but it’s relatively easy to use and easy to place bets through.
Usually, when visiting a bookmaker, you land on the main sportsbook and then have the option to navigate to the casino and other sections of the site. However, with Gentingbet, you are given the choice immediately. The homepage is a landing page giving visitors three options – The sportsbook, casino or live casino.
The sports betting section of Gentingbet is powered by FSBTech and so you may be familiar with the layout as it is used on various other bookmaker websites. The sidebar contains a list of sports, football coupons and some quick links to popular sections, current promotions are displayed in the carousel and a list of various in-play events are listed in the main content.
Navigation between sports and competitions is relatively simple and we had no problem finding the events we wanted when testing. One negative is that we found the site to be a little slow. There was some lag in pages loading fully and although this was not a huge issue, sites should really be loading quickly these days.
Customers at Gentingbet have the option to use the cash out function which allows them to settle their bets early for a predetermined return. Cash out is available on selected markets and sports and any bets which are eligible for cash out can be found by visiting the dedicated Cash Out page.
The Genting brand is synonymous with casinos and so you should expect a lot from their casino section. Genting casino is host to over 300 games from various game providers such as PlayTech, Novomatics, Red Tiger,IGT and most recently NetENT with the majority of games being online slots.
Gentingbet also provide a live casino where players can play a range of games such as blackjack and roulette with real-life casino dealers and croupiers. Other games featured in the live casino include Sic Bo, Side Bet City, Deal or No Deal, Monopoly Live, Dreamcatcher, Baccarat, Three Card Poker and Texas Hold’em.
If you’re looking for deposit & withdrawal methods other than the use of debit & credit cards then you’re not in luck as these are the only methods Gentingbet currently accept. The majority of people use a card to fund and withdraw from their accounts but we would like to see at least a few more options for players at Gentingbet. EWallets such as PayPal, Neteller and Skrill are commonly available at betting sites and we feel Gentingbet will be missing out on customers by not providing these.
Deposits via debit and credit cards are free of charge and are instant. Withdrawals are also without charge and usually reach your bank account within 2 – 5 days.
The Gentingbet website is only available in English currently but there are various other account settings such as changing the format of the odds displayed sitewide and deposit and withdrawal preferences which customers can personalise.
Odds Format: Customers can choose to view odds on Gentingbet in either fractional or decimal format. Changing the format of the odds can be done with the click of a button by clicking on ‘Odds Type’ at the bottom of the left sidebar. Doing so will update the odds sitewide until you change them again.
Responsible Gambling: Gentingbet provide customers with a number of options to set limits on their account.
Deposit Limits: Customers can set limits on how much they can deposit each day, week or month.
Loss Limits: Set a limit as to how much you can lose within an hour, day, week or month.
Max Wager: You’re able to limit the value of wagers you can make within a chosen time frame.
Single Bet Limit: Limit the maximum value of a single bet you can place through your Gentingbet account.
Session Duration: When set, you will be notified when you have been logged into your account for a specific amount of time.
Reality Check: Turn on notifications for when you have been playing games continuously for a specified amount of time.
Time Out: Take a break from Gentingbet for a period of 1 day, 7 days, 3 weeks or 6 weeks. You willnot have access to your account during this period.
Self Exclusion: Exclude yourself from Gentingbet products for a period ranging from 6 months to 60 months.
Overall, Gentingbet isn’t a bad bookmaker but there is a lot of room for improvement. The Gentingbet new customer offer is excellent and we have no complaints about that. Their website is also pretty good with easy navigation and attractive design. However, we would like to see the pages load a bit quicker and we would definitely like more deposit and withdrawal options made available to players.
That said, the Gentingbet welcome offer is enough of a reason to create an account and place a bet. If you don’t have an account yet, click the button below to register.
