Having launched in July 2020 and being Genesis Global’s first online sportsbook, we were unsure as to what to expect from Funbet. It turns out that they cover a wide range of sports with almost 30 different ones available to bet on. Pretty much every sport you can think of is covered at Funbet such as Football, Tennis, Basketball, Greyhounds, American Football, Darts and Boxing. There is also an excellent selection of alternative sports such as Futsal, Gaelic Football/Hurling, Water Polo and Politics.
Esports is also widely covered with events available from China, Japan, South Korea, Turkey and Vietnam. Esport fans will be able to bet on events such as Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter-Strike:GO, StarCraft 2: Valorant Allied Odyssey and the Arena of Valor Star League.

One negative about Funbet is the absence of Horse Racing from their available sports. Funbet don’t currently accept customers from the UK which may be a reason why they don’t cover horse racing. Funbet has had a UK licenced approved though and so we’re hoping that UK residents will be accepted soon and that horse racing is added to their long list of available sports to bet on.

In-play betting on various sports is available at Funbet and can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Live Betting’ link in the navbar. Here, you’ll find all live sporting events which are available to be bet on. All events are categorised by sport, making it easy to find the event you’re looking for.
For the vast majority of in-play events, a comprehensive list of stats are available which can give you an idea of how the teams/players are performing. For football matches, stats include shots, shots on/off target, corner kicks, free kicks, offsides, throw-ins, red/yellow cards, saves, fouls, injuries and more. Customers also have access to the ‘Match Tracker’ which visually shows what is happening in the event such as when there is a corner kick or a substitution. This can be a useful in-play betting tool for when you’re not able to watch the event live as, for example, it may not be a good idea to bet on a team when the other team has a corner kick.
There are also a couple of other nice features in the in-play section at Funbet with one being the Live Schedule. This is a list of upcoming events which are available to bet on at Funbet with sporting events for the next 7 days listed.
Another feature is the Results section. Here, you’ll be able to find the outcome of any sporting event which has taken place in the last 7 days. The database is huge and so the filter options can save you a great deal of time finding what you’re looking for.
Funbet live streaming is not currently available and so we advise you to use the Match Tracker and in-play stats in order to gain a better insight as to how the event is going and the best bets to place. If you are wating to stream sports live, Bet365 is fully recommended by us here at WhichBookie.
