PremierPunt Review

Everything you need to know about PremierPunt

Premier Punt isn’t as well known as some of the more established sites but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t consider joining them.

Starting off as a Daily Fantasy Sports operator back in 2013, the brand later decided to go down a different route and become an operational online sportsbook and casino.

In this Premier Punt review, we’ll be looking at whether or not the bookmaker can compete with more established betting sites by seeing what they have to offer.

Sports & Betting Markets

With some bookmakers which are relatively new, you’ll find that they won’t offer betting on as many sports as some of the more established bookies. That’s not the case with Premier Punt who provide betting markets for over 30 different sports. You’ll be able to bet on popular sports such as horse racing, football, tennis, darts and cricket as well as sports such as water polo, E-sports, Muay Thai and cycling if you wish.

A full list of available sports can be seen below.

  • Football
  • Horse racing
  • Premier Boosts
  • Tennis
  • American football
  • Aussie Rules
  • Baseball
  • Basketball
  • Boxing
  • Cricket

  • Greyhounds
  • Golf

  • Muay Thai sport

The number of markets available at Premier Punt is particularly impressive. Checking the markets for English Premier League matches, there were 161! These range from markets you’d expect to see such as match winner, over/under goals, HT/FT and goalscorer markets to some less common markets such as whether or not an own goal will be scored or which team will have the most shots on target.

We compared the odds for a few different sports at Premier Punt against various other bookmakers and they held up very well. We’re confident that the vast majority of users will not have any issues with the quality of odds available.

In-Play Betting

You can view all in-play events at Premier Punt by clicking on the ‘In-Play tab in the navbar. All of the in-play sports are categorised by sport making finding the event you’re looking for very easy.

As well as the in-play events being categorised, so are the in-play markets. For example, for football markets, you can switch between goal markets, corners, half betting and ‘fast markets’ which are markets such as ‘What will happen in the next 1 minute (a goal, corner, free-kick etc).

Just like with pre-match markets at Premier Punt, for high-profile sports, there is a huge number of available markets. When checking a Premier League match, there were in excess of 150 different markets to choose from which is excellent. The quality of the odds is also impressive with many markets having greater odds than some of the more established bookmakers we compared them with.

Live Streaming

Premier Punt doesn’t provide live streams of sporting events currently. However, this should not put you off as they have an excellent in-play section as mentioned above. There is also a ‘Match Tracker’ for the majority of in-play events which will show you things like when one team is attacking, when there is a free kick or when a team is taking a corner. Although this isn’t as good as live streaming, it can be very useful.

Customer Service

Customers can contact the Premier Punt support team either via email or live chat. The live chat button is displayed in the bottom right corner of every page, making it extremely convenient whichever part of the site you’re on.

Upon testing the live chat feature, we were connected to a support agent within 30 seconds who was quick to deal with our query. Our email was also responded to in an acceptable amount of time with a reply received in around 6 hours.

There is also a  FAQ page which contains a handful of answers to questions relating to getting started, deposits & withdrawals and registration. However, there isn’t much helpful information in this section and it could be greatly improved.

Premier Punt App

Unfortunately, Premier Punt have not released a mobile betting app up to this point. Instead, users must log in to their account via a mobile browser to place bets. This is slightly disappointing given the percentage of mobile views bookmakers get. However, the Premier Punt mobile website is excellent. It loads fast, looks sleek and is very easy to navigate with the main menu and the use of icons for various sports.

The Website

The Premier Punt website looks very attractive with its dark grey theme and orange highlights and you can tell they have put a lot of effort into the website given the impressive graphics which they display for current promotions.

The website is laid out well with the latest promotions displayed on the homepage along with current in-play events. A long list of sports takes up most of the space in the left sidebar and featured events and the bet slip occupy the right.

Navigation to other sections of the Premier Punt website, such as the casino, live casino and virtuals sections can be done easily via the main navbar and there are various settings such as the odds format and time which users can configure whichever page they are on.

Overall, we were impressed with the website as a whole and found it one of the better bookmaker sites to browse.

Online Casino

Premier Punt Casino is host to hundreds of online casino games ranging from slots to table games as well as a variety of live casino games.

There are over 230 slots to choose from provided by numerous game developers with many popular titles included such as Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck II, Bonanza and Book of Dead. For tables games, players have the option of various versions of Blackjack as well as Roulette, Casino Hold’em, Casino Stud Poker, Baccarat and Super Wheel.

Moving onto the Live Casino section, you’ll again find a number of Blackjack and Roulette variations as along with a number of live host games such as Lightning Roulette and Dream Catcher.

Although the range of games isn’t as extensive as at some other online casinos, there should be more than enough choice to satisfy the majority of players.

Banking

Premier Punt doesn’t provide the most comprehensive list of banking options but the majority of users should be satisfied as the main ones are covered.

You can see a list of available deposit and withdrawal options in the table below.

Method Min Deposit Withdrawal Time
Visa £10 3-5 Days
Mastercard £10 3-5 Days
Neteller £10 24 Hours
Skrill £10 24 Hours

Account Settings

Below are some of the account settings available at Premier Punt which customers can use to personalise their accounts.

Odds Format: Currently, Premier Punt allows customers to choose between two different odds formats – Decimal and Fractional. Either can be selected by clicking on the ‘odds’ drop-down in the navbar.

Responsible Gambling: Premier Punt provides a number of responsible gambling settings which include:

Deposit Limits: Set limits on how much you can deposit in a day, week or month.

Time Out: Take a break from betting with Premier Punt by selecting a time out. Time outs can range from anywhere between 24 hours to 6 weeks.

Self-Exclusion: Customers can opt to exclude themselves from betting with Premier Punt. When applied, you will not be able to access your account.

Reality Checks: Track and control the amount of time you spend playing with a reality check. Once set, you’ll receive an alert when you’ve been playing for the amount of time you set.

Summary

Premier Punt haven’t had time to build up the reputation which some of the more established bookmakers have been able to achieve but when reviewing them, we found a lot to like. We were particularly impressed with the number of markets available both pre-match and in-play and their odds seemed very competitive. The website is fast, attractive and easy to navigate although we were slightly disappointed with the absence of a mobile app.

Overall, we have no issues recommending Premier Punt. If you would like to register an account, be sure to click the button below to claim the welcome offer from which you can receive a £10 free bet.

Not a bad bookie at all. Signed up to get the free bet but have placed a good number of bets with them now. Some good offers about with them and payouts always seem fast.
