The Paddy Power new customer offer is a refund on losing first bets up to a maximum of £20.

First, you need to check that you have a free bet available to use. You can check this by looking just below your balance if using the Paddy Power desktop website. Here, you’ll see your free bet balance. If the balance is positive, you have a free bet to use.
To use your free bet on Paddy Power, simply add a selection to your betslip. Once added, click on the toggle alongside ‘Use Available Free Bets’. You will still need to enter the stake for your bet but so long as the stake amount doesn’t exceed your free bet balance, only free bets will be used for your bet.
Next, click the green ‘Place Bet’ button and your bet will be confirmed. You can monitor your open bets in the ‘My Bets’ section once logged into your account.

Unfortunately, you can’t withdraw a Paddy Power free bet directly and must use it to place a bet with. However, you can withdraw any winnings generated from using your free bet. As with all free bets, the free bet stake isn’t included in any returns.
For example, if you used a £10 free bet on a bet with odds of 3/1, if you were placing this bet with cash and it won, you would receive back £40 (£30 winnings + the £10 stake) but when using a free bet, you would receive back £30 as the stake is not returned. Once your bet has settled, you will be able to withdraw any winnings.
